Location

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 7-storey building with 2 lifts and 175 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Horrible experience. The lighting in the room was nothing more than a couple of small flashlights. The window was frosted so no light entered. The room as so tiny from the picture (very deceptive).     Hotel Europa. I stay at best western hotels all throughout Canada totalling 250+ nights a year and this is by far the worst one I have experienced. As a loyal best western diamondselect member I have acquired quite a few points in which I redeemed for a 4 night stay at your hotel. We were tucked away in the darkest dingiest little room and I clearly seen that other king rooms were much larger and brighter. I did not receive a phone call after check in asking how our room was(which I receive from every other best western hotels). Unacceptable size of room. We travelled from Alberta for the week and had suitcases and you could barely move or keep organized why so ever. Small bathroom as well. Small closet. Air conditioning was loud. Window looked out to a brick wall. No adequate lighting in the room. Outlet was not working. Dust collection under the end tables beside the bed. Cleaning staff had knocked down gold earing from my fiancés night table and must have vacuumed or swept it up because we lost an expensive earring in the trip. Not only did this room make me not want to come back to this hotel but it also has questioned whether or not I will be continuing to stay at best western chain hotels in the future as I feel like we were placed in this room because it was paid for through my rewards points.     Not a terrible experience given we only slept here and showered 4 nights. But the view was non existent, couldn't see out the windows as it started at eye level. Room wasnt very clean, crumbs and hair in the corners. Missing face clothes, hand towels and body wash was empty. Same requested and received but not replenished when dirty ones removed daily. One day they only left one towel, no face clothes or hand towels. One elevator was broken and the remaining one was busy and small (fit max 5 people) Air conditioning unit was SUPER noisy, like being in a wind and rain storm all night. The bed was very comfortable after long days out and the shower had hot water which was great!

    Amazing Hotel Stay

    It was our first time staying in a hotel and they made it a dream come true! The reception was warm and very welcoming. They were great with directions to unload our luggage and check in when we got lost getting to the hotel and looking for parking. It was our first trip to Montreal. The lobby and reception were clean and beautiful. The room was breathtaking and clean. There was a window Air Conditioner to help with room temperature. They had a smart TV in the room and was easy to log in to my streaming services. They had great recommendations about places to eat and visit within walking distance. They work with a parking garage for parking, and the fee is reasonable and charged upon your checkout. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. I can't wait to go back on my next trip. It's also 10 minutes or less walking to delicious restaurants and services. Just down the street to the Bell Center. There's a bistro, a Cora's restaurant, a souvenir and Canadiens team store and a hair salon in the lobby. There's a 24 hour fitness area.
