Location

The hotel is ideally situated at the perimeter of historical Old Montreal and directly adjacent to the Montreal Convention Center. It is not far from fashionable central shopping venues, museums, boutiques, restaurants, bars, the famed Montréal nightlife, the Old Port of Montreal and the festivals. Family and sports activities (bicycles and running paths) are also in the hotel’s immediate vicinity.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 210 suites, which are located on 11 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher, as well as a complete set of utensils, is a standard feature. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex promises pleasant and carefree swimming. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, jet skiing and sailing or, for a fee, water skiing. Sport and leisure facilities at the apartment hotel include a gym, squash and aerobics. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

    I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to after such a wonderful experience at the Embassy Suites. We were visiting Montreal for the first time for the F1 race, and the entire staff made our stay exceptional. Everyone was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and genuinely lovely throughout the weekend.The concierge team was terrific, and the hotel was impressively well staffed despite the huge crowds. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the nightly happy hour was such a fun touch after long days at the race.Special shoutout to Bernie and Joey for all their hard work and for handling the busy crowds with such great energy and professionalism. The location was also fantastic and made getting around so easy.Thank you for making our first trip to Montreal such a memorable one!     The Embassy Suites Montreal was perfect! The front desk and concierge staff was pleasant and accommodating with all requests and questions. The large suite was extremely clean upon arrival and housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness and restocking fresh towels throughout the stay. The pillow top bed was plush and amazingly comfortable. The bedding and towels were all high quality. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The 5:00-7:00 reception with complimentary wine, beer, cocktails and snacks was held in the very clean bar and restaurant area. The restaurant staff and bar tenders were eager to please. The complimentary breakfast was also in the restaurant offering many light and hearty options including a made to order omelet and pancake station. The breakfast staff was bustling to keep tables clean and food replenished. The location is very convenient-steps from the Old Montreal and Old Port areas and seemed very safe during the day as well as after dark. I prefer to stay in Hilton properties because they are consistently clean, well maintained and a good value for the price. I was hesitant to book this property with construction and remodeling concerns mentioned in reviews but we did not see or hear any signs of construction throughout our stay. Our room was always very quiet and we were even facing the street. The Embassy Suites Montreal is one of the best Hilton properties that I have experienced!     What a buzz - great location, great service from staff and superb vibe located right on edge of old historic Montreal

    Arrived via short 2 minute walk from Place-d Armes Metro station, superb location on the edge of old historic Montreal- we were greeted by the lively restaurant buzzing with activity from the *** Early in your stay if you've not experienced Montreal we highly recommend doing the Tour of Montreal Underground City to obtain a firm grounding of the city to learn how best to get around, its highlights and history. See if you can booking with Misha whose informative and engaging tour was first class (in English or French). ***In addition to the Embassy Hotel's Restaurant/ Bistro's positive vibe and 'great' attentive service from all of the staff that would make the owner and managers of the hotel proud, the suite we enjoyed was spacious, clean and had 'the most comfortable pillow top bed' we have experienced in decades.The bed was delightful and reminded us of a relaxing deep bed we had at the Fairmont San Francisco many years ago that set the standard for comfort and restfulness. The expression of climbing into bed was fitting for our suite.Our suite hadva lounge overlooking the cobbled street of old Montreal and had a relatively large kitchen. All you need to do is ask for crockery and cooking items.The staff were a highlight. The more senior Concierge provided us valuable stories and advice, and as mentioned earlier the Restaurant/ Bistro serving staff were first class both in the evenings and breakfast shifts. The only area for improvement in this area was the importance of the front desk young woman and the young man on Concierge Desk to take time to greet and acknowledge each and every guest as they come and go. We felt their fixation on their phones / computer screens at the expense of simply acknowledging guest was a let down, and relatively easy to address to lift the Hotel to the high level of customer experience it deserves.In leaving the hotel we both felt sad as our time at this Embassy Suites Montreal was so enjoyable and fun!     Room is a hot box, temperature over 80 degrees, NO AIR. Room filfy and dirty

    EMBASSY SUITES MONTREALWe checked in earlier today April 29th) room 1107 and found the temperature in the room at 87 degrees !! We turned on the air conditioning and after 3 hours the temperature dropped to 84 degrees. A sweat box !We tried to open the window for air and only one window opened so we had to get maintenance to come to our room to open the other window. The maintenance guy said the air conditioning is out of service !! He said there was a notice left on top of the front desk but we did not notice it when we checked in.We were NOT notified of this prior to our arrival 😡🤬...Because all hotels are booked in the area for the SIAL show, we could not move from this hotel and are stuck.We are staying another night and checking out Friday.Add to this, there is only one elevator working and that means long line-ups for the elevator and with no air conditioning in the building elevators were hot and crowded !! 🤬😡In addition, the room was dirty and filthy and smelled of dog.The couch and chairs very uncomfortable to sit it. The couch is broken at one end making it impossible to sit there.This is certainly one of the worst stays we have ever had at a Hilton hotel 😡I would appreciate your attention to this urgent matter and we need a response.     Construction and Fruit Flies! Avoid for now.

    The hotel is in a nice location if you want to look around old Montréal, but unfortunately that’s where the good parts of this hotel end. The hotel is currently under renovation/construction, and they started every morning before 7am! There is no mention of this on their website, and when I mentioned it to the front desk, they seemed nonplussed. Surely there must be some rule that they can’t start work that early in the morning! Also, as others have noted, there is a terrible fruit fly infestation in the restaurant where the breakfast and evening reception are located, made for an unpleasant eating experience to say the least. To sum up, I would avoid this hotel until the renovations and fruit fly issues are solved.
