Location

This hotel is located in the heart of the city, only a stone's throw from the sights, the tourist centre, and a bus station. The Montreal Arts Centre lies about 2 km away, while it is a 10-minute walk to old Montreal, the Notre Dame basilica, and the Convention Centre.

The hotel has 6 suites, 43 single rooms and 105 double rooms, which are located on 10 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     Beautiful hotel in Montreal. Perfect for a quick getaway to Montreal. Very professional staff, the hot breakfast is the best and my room was exceptionally clean. Close to everything happening in the city, and steps away from the Metro subway if a bit too far to walk for you.     Worst Experience Ever!

    My stay at the Marriott Fairfield Inn was eventful, to say the least. I stayed here from August 20 to August 22, 2021.On Sunday, when I received my car back, the valet driver approached me and said he had something to show me. I went over to take a look, and he had smashed the entire driver's side door and the mirror. I was very upset and angry, as this was my brand-new 2021 vehicle bought just two months prior. The hotel did NOT want to take responsibility and initially refused to refund our stay. After my boyfriend argued with them, they finally refunded it, but only after almost being forced to do so.*THEY GAVE NO OPTION BUT TO USE VALET PARKING AND ONLINE IT STATED PARKING AVAILABLE. I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING*Now, that's not the worst part. After a police report was taken, I obtained a copy, and it showed that no insurance information was provided, only the valet driver's name. I emailed back and forth with the general manager, Med Laaouan, who demonstrated a lack of managerial skills. As a Business Management graduate, I feel sorry for the staff and other guests who might encounter problems. Med informed me that he would not pay the dealership body shop directly, and I would have to go through insurance (which I'm from Ontario and my insurance would not cover) This is being posted again because my review was deleted. This is still something I am paying myself back to fix.My stay here was ruined, and I will never stay at another Fairfield Inn again. I also want to note that recent reviews state they no longer offer valet parking, probably for a good reason. The drivers were not tested for intoxication or being under the influence and continued working after damaging my car, as if nothing happened.Now, ask yourself, is this a hotel you would like to deal with? Thank you for destroying my car and giving me PTSD about traveling. STILL TO THIS DAY, THEY NEVER PAID FOR ANY DAMAGES TO MY VEHICLE!!!! 2024!!!!! Update: Still never paid any damages and closed the "valet" company and it is 2025.     A warm and comfortable stay in Montreal

    From our arrival to our departure everything was great and made for an enjoyable visit to Montreal. Amass (I hope the name is right) greated us and gave us a lot of information to start our vacation. Everyone that I met at the desk were helpful and friendly. I wish I could remember them all but Salma gave me help one evening finding an IGA grocery that was about 2 blocks away. It was a full grocery store next to a liquor store. The entrance was a little difficult to see from the street. The area is lively and was near a park that had music several nights. I always felt safe when walking the area. Transportation both metro and bus were very close. I used the Montreal transport info for time and place. Our room was on the 10th floor and was very clean and quiet. We had a walk in shower with good spray and hot water. The WIFI worked well as did the TV. There was a refrigerator in the room. A microwave was available in the lobby as was an ATM. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My only comment on the room was that a few more drawers would have been better for those that stay for a week or longer. One of the pluses was a warm breakfast. Marita and Santi were the workers there most of the time and were helpful and hard working. There was an expresso counter in the eating area and it was made fresh per request. Even though I didn’t know the whole staff’s name, Their smiles and helpfulness made my day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    This is really a motel or an inn at its best. Real disappointed by Marriott giving this a 3 star. They falsely informed us of an upgrade when we called them. After flying all the way from west coast, told us that the upgrade was only subject to availability. Since they were sold out, us 3 adults and a baby were stuck in a tiny room with a bed and a sofa. They changed their words multiple times while we were checking in to allow us an upgrade. Absolute no hospitality!!!There was hair in the folded towels, and they have no service past 11pm so if you need an extra bedding, there is no one to help.     Very near everything and if you can walk 1-2 km/h you can walk almost anywhere. The old port, Chinatown, via rail station etc
