  Breakfast to run of, but room ok

  We liked the hotel, the room, the reception, but the breakfast was maybe the worst ever.The cofee was bad, the bread, well all.And also we had to wait to grab a table, and the answer was you also wait in McDonald's.So we had to wait and were badly served.The waiter was really rude... so they really need to improve breakfast Hubert Li, Owner at Hotel Montreal Metropolitain, BW Premier Collection, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback, although we regret to see that your experience fell short of your expectations.   Unclean bed-disgusting!

  We stayed hotel Metropolitan establishment last night (July 21 2025) having booked it several months ago. While the room was adequate and clean, we were dismayed to discover a plethora of hairs and a stain on the bed on one side after my wife, very tired, pulled back the covers to retire for the night. (See attached pictures). Examination revealed that the sheet was dirty, and obviously had not been changed since the previous occupant.When we called the front desk, we were told that they could not move our room because the hotel was busy. My wife had to instruct her to have someone bring clean sheets. She was not apologetic.We think that this is unacceptable for a Best Western established chain of hotels. The man who came to bring new sheets was very personable (he took pictures as well), but he was not a housekeeper, and we had to help him make the bed!They credited us $20! That’s an insult.   Hotel was basic at best. Free parking was across a busy thoroughfare, under an overpass. You had to run across the thoroughfare with your luggage as there were no crosswalks or lights. No ramps to drag luggage up.   Dishonest and Manipulative – A Complete Scam

  I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Hotel Montreal Metropolitain, BW Premier Collection. After booking a room at a reasonable rate well in advance, I was contacted by the hotel stating that my credit card had been declined. I tried two different cards, both of which were valid and worked elsewhere, yet the hotel kept insisting the cards were refused.It quickly became clear what was really going on: the hotel had significantly raised their prices for the dates I had booked, and they were looking for an excuse to cancel my reservation so they could resell the room at a much higher rate. This is a clear scam and incredibly dishonest behavior.Avoid this hotel if you value fair treatment and transparent business practices. They have no integrity and clearly prioritize profit over basic customer respect. I would never book here again.   They seem to mean well, but...

  The location is good although not in a great part of town. Free parking is promised but not guaranteed. It was SO NOISY when we were there due to events on main floor 3 nights in a row that disturbed the sleep of those on all 5 floors. Best Western needs decide what their priority is: catering to guests paying for rooms or events that can keep up their paying guests until early in the morning.
