    Our Nights in a Museum

    rating24 Apr 2026

Loved that this was both a boutique hotel AND a museum. Each floor presented a different aspect of art and music from ‘60s and ‘70s Montréal. Our room featured jazz musicians. And the museum app was fun to explore. The staff was gracious and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Uville Team, Guest Services / Front Office at Uville Hotel Montreal, responded to this review Thank you for this great review. We are pleased to know that you appreciates the concept of the hotel and our services. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Peace and love, from the whole team.

Lovely hotel with a few quirks.

    rating30 Oct 2025

The staff, especially Tomas from France made the visit exceptional. The front office reception go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast delivered to your room in a basket was a novel idea. There is a good Portuguese restaurant across the street. The hotel is walking distance to some of the sights and is right in the old part of Montreal and a block from the cruise ship terminal. The only thing I did not like was the sink and counter area. The sink was at least a yard long with about two inches of space around to try to rest the hairdryer on. It was an impossible task as the hair dryer kept falling into the sink. I know electricity and water do no mix so I found this situation to be very troubling. There is just not enough space for 2 people to put out their toiletries. Mine are in a hanging bag, but there was no where to hang it. The picture shows it hanging on the arm of the mirror, which wasn't very strong, so it didn't seem like an appropriate spot to hang, but there was no where else to hang. Very frustrating. Something to keep in mind is that the door to the toilet has glass. If you are on the couch you look directly into the bathroom. While the glass is frosted you can certainly see the outline of the person on the toilet. Not to mention the glass doesn't make the toilet room very soundproof. Uville Team, Guest Services / Front Office at Uville Hotel Montreal, responded to this review Hello there,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay.We are sorry to hear that the sink affected your stay. We will take your feedback into account, and will pass on the message to the adequate department to ensure that this will not affect future stays here.In the hopes of seeing you again,We wish you a lovely day,Hotel Uville

    Perfect location and wonderful staff

    rating25 Sept 2025

Just got back from a 5 night stay at this hotel and we had a fabulous experience! Check-in was easy and they even were able to accommodate us for an early arrival. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. Everyone at this hotel greeted you with a smile. The location is perfect to walk anywhere with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our favorite staff member was Thomas. He was there every afternoon when we returned from our sightseeing, always smiling and asking us what we did. He would offer up great recommendations. After dinner each night, we sat at the bar and had a nightcap discussing the next days plans and what life is like in Montreal. Thomas is truly a gift to this establishment, he really made our stay special. Rooms were perfect for 2 people with a nice size bathroom. Very clean. Daily breakfast in bed was a fun way to start the day. Would definitely stay here again! Wonderful Location and Great Staff

    rating16 Sept 2025

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Uville for four nights, on our first trip to Montreal. It was lovely in many ways. We have stayed in all manner of accommodations, from luxury to rustic, and we would definitely stay again. The location was perfect; close to the action in Old Montreal, but also tucked away next to a quiet park and within walking distance of so much (in all directions). The room was not fancy, but it was spacious, had everything we needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating; every time we had a question or a request, they seemed happy to help and provided valuable counsel. After hearing so much about the Expo 67 during our visit, it was fun to have an image in the hallway of the manmade islands being built for the expo. As a bonus, when we were not ready for a full breakfast, the pastry box was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
