First stay , last stay .

I am not normally negative and am not hard to please , but. This place is very run down . The paint was peeling off the doors of the room , the door locks and trim around the door was completely worn out and very dirty . There was handwriting on all the doors ! The tv did not work .To get from my room to the front desk you went through narrow , dark corridors with worn out carpet and paint peeling on the walls When I asked if the restaurant was open in the morning the answer was an abrupt "no". The price for the room was low , but there is a basic expectation of cleanliness and quality regardless of the price , and this place was far below the average person's expectations.

    Get what you pay for

This place is very dated and you use an actual key to open the outside and inside doors. The floors appear to be new and makes the room look and feel clean. We couldn’t close the bathroom door as it stuck on the bottom. The water had a very bad taste ( highly chlorinated). The bed was the worse part as it was extremely uncomfortable. And if you like it cool in the room the AC shuts off and comes on again and again so it wakes you up and reminds you how uncomfortable you are. Horrible night sleep. Overall the room and facility was pretty clean and the front deck guy was friendly enough and spoke fast broken English.

Good reasonable price, comfort, hospitality and very clean. It is not my first time there I will sure rebook an an other stay!! Very, well located for a stay in the beautiful Eastern Townships region: Lots of activities around (Considering the pandemic!). Great food (Take-out only considering the situation). Enjoy!Mario...

    Very charming

    rating14 Oct 2018

We were two couples - one couple had a kitchenette and the other had a regular room. Interestingly, the kitchenette was only $2 more than a regular room. Both rooms were uniquely furnished in old European style. The rooms were large and the beds were super comfy. Free wi-fi, coffee, etc. Good value.

    Sweet place

    rating19 Aug 2017

As a musician, I love the type of motel where you can pull right up to the door and unload without lots of doors and steps. The old-fashioned feel was attractive. This place is very charming and the receptionist was very sweet. Hotels.com made a mistake on my reservation, and she gave me a better room for the same price. She also recommended nearby restaurants. The location is on a busy thoroughfare on the outskirts of town, so it isn't scenic, but inside the room was surprisingly quiet. The room was fine-- clean, reasonably updated, and comfortable.Breakfast did have meat and eggs as well as croissants and yogurt-- well worth the 5 dollars.I would definitely stay here again. As an older single woman, I'm sensitive to the creepy vibe, and this hotel felt homey and welcoming.
