Affordable and clean hotel in convenient location

    rating31 Dec 2025

See another is not only serious residence and we don't want her apartment I need to place to stay near her residence over the Christmas. I was unlimited budget so I picked an affordable property. The room is fine. That, it was better than expected. The bathroom must immaculate. It looked like the sink, bathtub, and toilet were brand new. If I were to be picky, I would say is if there's no towel rack, only a couple of hooks. There was an ample supply of towels, washcloths, and toilet paper. The room was clean. Just about everything worked except for one bedside lamp that only turned on partially. There was more than enough light in the room without it. There were two good sized desks. and enough space to store coats and suitcases. You don't have two queen sized beds and the bedding was clean.Just had a couple of things to keep in mind to it since it's not a lifestyle hotel, they don't automatically change the sheets and travelers every day but then we'll change them if you ask.Samantha who checked us in and they woman who checked us in were both very polite and accommodating. The breakfast, which was included in the roommate, was very basic. It consisted of orange juice, bagels and other breads, cream cheese, yogurt, sliced cheeses, cereal, tea and coffee. It was fine except for the one day when the last two Bagels left had mold on them. I notified the front desk and they quickly rectified the situation. The location is convenient and steps away from a bus that goes directly to the Vendome Metro station within 8 minutes. There are two supermarkets across the street and restaurants and fast food within walking distance. I recommend Manoir Brasserie.Keep in mind that there's no elevator so don't bring really heavy bags. One suggestion for improvement would be the hall carpets. They were worse for the wear and could do with a good steam cleaning. Other than that I have no hesitation in recommending the property.

    Not Terrible but Below Mediocre

    rating19 Aug 2024

We just needed a bed for the night and nothing more so we went for the cheapest place we could find. Le Chabrol was that place. The price was definitely right but the room and property were pretty bad. The room was just clean enough to not be grossed out and had lots of character: broken door fixtures, odd electrical design decisions, etc.The breakfast was not terrible but very crowded and a logistical nightmare to navigate. There wasn't much variety available there but for the price it was more and better than I expected: toast, yogourt, juice, bad coffee, a couple of apples, cereal, etc.The neighbourhood was full of car dealerships etc. and not a great place to walk to anything like restaurants or attractions. Even public transit is a bus ride away from the metro. It's really easy to get to from highway 20 though!

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS “HOTEL”

    rating23 Apr 2024

Hi, ya ll - I wanted to share my thoughts about Le Chabrol Hotel & Suites. For starters, this was supposed to be a hotel, but it felt more like a motel. In the time we were here, we were able to notice an entrance with a vending machine which clearly shows selling CONDOMS. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke, no elevators, hallways were very narrow, there was a leak coming from the hot tub faucet, and the hot tub was not cleaned correctly as there was dust and a spider roaming around inside it.Arriving at this "hotel". I've noticed this space was not what we were advertised online, nor did we get the specific room we reserved a month in advance. Even so, I would not have been able to stay the night in this location due to the lack of safety felt upon entering this location. The more time I spent here, the more disgusted I felt.Even the Front Desk receptionist apologized and mentioned that people had encountered this issue with what's advertised online. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM THIS “HOTEL”

Stay here if you want to experience going to hell and back

    rating13 Oct 2023

We booked a night at this place (definitely not worth the name hotel) to catch an early flight from the airport. It was reasonably priced and the photos seemed ok. If you are contemplating doing the same, do yourself a favour and sleep in your car or on a seat in the airport; you'll get a better night's sleep. As soon as you walk in, the place just screams seedy motel. The scent of chemical air freshener is overpowering and definitely not in any way related to the level of cleanliness. A previous guest had spilled a drink in our room, which still had sticky, Crush-coloured stains on the floor. The shower was moldy. The original colour of the carpet in the room was hard to make out. We had to unplug both the fridge and airco unit because their noise levels were brutal. While the accommodation was absolutely terrible, I do wish to point out that both employees we dealt with at check-in/out were very polite and helpful.

    Fighting and bedbug

    rating27 Jul 2023

I booked a room seeing the good reviews and cheap price, just as a place to sleep before an early morning flight. The room looked old but serviceable. But then an scarily yelling man outside the hotel kept me awake for over an hour, as did the doors repeatedly opening and shutting in the hallway at 12:30am. Just as I was trying to get calmed back down and get some sleep, I looked down at the bedspread and saw a friendly little bedbug. Photo attached. I left at 1:45am to go sleep in my car in the airport garage (!!) and the hotel still charged me for the 4 hours I had stayed there. Not classy.
