Location

This hotel is located in downtown Montréal, close to some of the major attractions (Museum of Fine Arts) as well as Crescent Street, home to the hottest nightclubs in town. Restaurants, bars, shopping opportunities and Guy & Concordia underground station are also in the vicinity. It is only a 5-minute drive from the Bell Center, home of the Montréal Canadiens hockey team, while the Biodome & Olympic Stadium is about 20 minutes away by car.

Facility

176 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in an 8-storey main building and a 12-storey auxiliary building. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Maintenance issues.

    My wife and I stayed in an Admiral Loft #132 for 4 nights in early April 2026. Unit needed maintenance on kitchenette faucets, bathroom faucet handles would spin 360 degrees when using them. Tried to use the jetted spa tub on our last night - faucet handle fell off in my hand and the jets did not work - maintenance was contacted and confirmed all the issues we had - we were offered to charge rooms but we were leaving next morning at 4:00 am for an early flight - so no point in doing that. We were told hotel manger would reach out to offer compensation the next day - but he did not - I had to contact him myself the following day - he did offer to refund 1 night’s stay after some negotiations. Also the on-site restaurant was under renovation and closed - back entrance was also under construction and not accessible - doors were removed and pallets of tiles were stacked in guest walking areas - not ideal.     Unfortunately, I did a review and was very disappointed with many things and equipment that were broken. Place under construction and were not advised about this prior to arrival. But trip adviser refused to let me submit the review stating I used profanity, which was not true. Must be getting a kick back from the hotel.Under construction, no restaurant, no bar, front door closed off, vending machine not working properly and steals your money, bathroom door broken, no curtain to close out sun light, female hair on bathroom towels, shower wand broken and unable to adjust. benjamin Magazzinich, General Manager at Le Nouvel Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your concerns—we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience.We understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter multiple maintenance issues and ongoing construction during your stay, especially without prior notice.     Perfect location but needing some tweaks.

    We spent 7 nights in a king suite. The positive attributes were: the perfect location in the downtown Montreal area, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the Bell centre, art galleries etc. This suite was spacious and light, complete with a kitchenette which allowed us to prepare snacks or a light meal at any time of day or night. The bed was comfortable, there was ample storage and seating and the whole suite was very clean the whole time we were there. The bathroom and bed linens were of good quality, with the exception of some of not enough mugs or cutlery and the pillows which were lumpy( chip foam?) The staff was friendly, informed and attentive. The only complaint that we had, was addressed right away. Since the hotel is going through major renovations, part of it is like a construction zone, but that will change. Our complaints include: difficult access to the limited number of spots in the underground parking garage, so we did not risk using our car in case on our return we would not have a place to leave the car. The bathroom door did not close properly , which was the case in other rooms as well and there is a definite problem with the sound insulate between the bathrooms, meaning that our bathroom shared a wall with the next room and one could hear everything, which was not pleasant.     Lobby was under renovations. Full of dirt and dust. Hallway and elevators were super dirty.
