  We really enjoyed our stay in Le Roberval Hotel. The location is absolutely fabulous. Walking distance almost everywhere so the only time we used Uber was when we wanted to go to Biodome. The rooms was nice, bedroom's bed was very comfortable, the pull out couch in the living room not as much but good enough for a child. :) Kitchen was small but sufficient, we did not even use it as we took advantage of all the options to eat out when on vacation. The bathroom was ok. Considering, that you are right by a hospital it was very quiet in the bedroom. The living room was a little noisy, when neighbors were coming in but that is normal. Breakfast was a nice bonus, it was simple but fed us in the mornings so we could start sightseeing and not sitting somewhere spending time on breakfast. Croissants, chocolate croissants, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, bread, bagels, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit and beverages.Staff was wonderful, very helpful. You can park in front of the hotel to unload the car and then you need to repark it. Our car was too high for their garage but they gave us options where to park and we chose the Main Library which was 5 min away and left the car there the whole time. We paid 42 CAN dollars Thursday evening - Sunday noon and used Uber when necessary. We will definitely choose the same place we come next time.

  Our room was in the back half of the hotel and seemed to have been a small 1 bedroom apt originally with a tiny kitchenette. 2 burner cooktop, frig, microwave, dishes for 4 and some pots, cutlery, glassware. You must wash your dishes or incur a $50 fee. It was quiet and breakfast was included, all cold, except for the coffee. There was a living area with 2 armchairs which are ready to be replaced! We didn't have an outside window but looked into a contained area that allowed rooms some natural light but no breeze. You had to park and bring your luggage in via front steps or get checked in and use the interior ramp on a side road so not suitable for those with mobility issues or who need parking nearby.

  Convenient Location and Decent Breakfast, but Significant Areas for Improvement!

  Dear Le Roberval Team,Good afternoon. I hope this message finds you well. My husband and I recently stayed at your hotel from December 24th to 27th, and I wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience.While we appreciated the hotel’s central location, which allowed us to explore the city on foot, as well as the quality of the breakfast, we encountered a few challenges that affected our overall stay. 1.Credit Card Hold for Incidentals:Upon arrival, we were informed of a $250 credit card hold for potential damages, in addition to the room cost and fees. While I understand the policy, this information was only mentioned in the email confirmation in very small text at the bottom. This made it easy to overlook, leading to some discomfort at check-in. A clearer, more visible notice in your booking communications would help future guests better prepare and avoid surprises. 2.Room Conditions:We stayed in room 302, which was extremely cold. Despite setting the heating to maximum, it did not provide adequate warmth during the cold winter nights. Given the time of year, functioning heating is crucial for guest comfort. I recommend ensuring that all heating systems are thoroughly inspected and maintained, especially during the winter months. 3.Limited Room Service Hours:On our first evening, after arriving late, we requested tea to warm up but were informed that room service was only available until 5 PM. Extending this service to at least 10 PM would greatly enhance the guest experience, particularly for those arriving late or returning to the hotel after exploring the city.Once again, we truly enjoyed the hotel’s location and breakfast, but addressing these areas could significantly improve the overall experience for your guests.   Comfy space and very friendly staff! Also, the pricing is very fair compared to other places in the city. You really get your bang for your buck! Thank you very much to all the magnificient staff at the Hotel Le Roberval! I will definetely go back!

  Was exactly what we needed first our short stay. Location was good as metro station very close by. Room was good size and bed and bathroom fine. Breakfast was adequate - nothing special but a decent start to the day. Included croissants, breads, cereal, ham and cheese. The dining area was a little on the small side. The elevator was a little erratic at times - took a while to arrive. Staff were helpful and polite. All in all a decent budget stay.
