Situated in Old Montreal and linked to both the Palais des Congrès and Montreal's famed underground city, the hotel enjoys a location both convenient and charming. The city centre, the VIA railway station, the Info Center and the shops on Saint Catherine Street can all be reached within around 15 minutes on foot.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 453 rooms, including 49 junior suites, 19 suites, 219 single rooms and 148 double rooms, located in a 22-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

The pool complex guarantees comfortable swimming with its soothing salt water and indoor and outdoor pools.     Exceptional Stay - Perfect Location and Views!

    We just wrapped up a fabulous 4-day stay at Le Westin Montreal, and it was everything we hoped for. The location is unbeatable—it was incredibly handy to be able to walk and explore both the energy of downtown and the charm of Old Montreal so easily.Our room was truly luxurious and felt like a sanctuary. Being on the 17th floor was a major highlight; the views of the city skyline were absolutely stunning. A huge thank you to the staff who were lovely throughout our entire visit—they were professional, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.One unique touch we loved: this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at that has a tuck shop for snacks and goodies! It was so convenient for grabbing a treat after a day of sightseeing. If you're looking for a perfect home base in Montreal, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

    Humiliating trip and poor customer service

    I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member, and my entire family has stayed with Marriott properties for years. That loyalty is exactly why this experience felt so demoralizing and embarrassing.I was traveling with a 97-year-old colleague and friend, and I contacted the hotel two weeks in advance to clearly explain that we would need extra assistance. Despite that notice, Marriott did essentially nothing to prepare or to support us once we arrived.From the moment we pulled up, we were treated as if we didn’t exist. The valet and front entrance staff repeatedly failed to acknowledge us or offer help. I was left holding my 97-year-old companion’s arm while managing two suitcases, trying to navigate doors and the lobby on my own. Occasionally someone would appear at the door, but most of the time it was just the two of us juggling everything. It was humiliating, and completely avoidable given I had warned the hotel in advance.The lack of care continued throughout the stay. When I called to have room service dishes collected, I was spoken to rudely and told to put everything outside the door myself—even after I explained I could not safely manage that while also caring for an elderly guest. Our room was never cleaned for the entire stay, even after an initial interaction with housekeeping. We also did not receive fresh towels despite requesting them. It was obvious that the accessibility/support needs I sent in writing ahead of time were never communicated to the relevant teams.On top of that, the Wi-Fi was unreliable. I reported the issue immediately, was told someone would follow up, and no one did. When I called again the next day, I spent roughly 40 minutes troubleshooting, only to have reliable Wi-Fi for about one day.Traveling with someone of this age requires patience, planning, and basic human compassion. What we experienced instead was disregard. Given how thoroughly the property failed to provide the most basic service—despite my outreach two weeks ahead of time—I am seeking a full refund. I would not recommend this property to anyone traveling with elderly relatives or anyone who needs accommodations or extra support.     Expected More From A Westin Property But Realized Marriott Owned It

    Clean room, generally quiet floor but closing doors from nearby room loud and sometimes jarring. Warm and friendly staff, received early check-in with $60 fee waved. Very efficient elevators.Negatives: Three towels for 2 guests, Fri to Sun, one hand soap, NO BATH MAT - tiles very slippery, robe was not terry but a petite facsimile of thin polyester, no Q tips/cotton balls, no amenities as advertised - only tiny bottle of moisture cream, virtually no counter space for cosmetic/toiletry bags, no shower cap, pillows need to be replaced-one was dead, another too large for comfortable sleeping, no clock, no radio as advertised.     Solid hotel in central location

    Had a nice stay at Le Westin. The room was large ands had a nice bathroom and good black out shades. The gym was very nice for a hotel gym. The pool had issues. The pool while already small was not heated properly. because it was so cold all children went into the hot tub, which is also small and became a splash and play area for the children. They have a rule on maximum number of people in the hot tub, but it was not enforced.The central location is great if you want to explore the old port area. Though I wouldn’t know if they charge a very high fee to park your car and there are lots very close by for much lower price.

    Such a beautiful and welcoming hotel. From the moment I walked in, I received a warm welcome from the valets and front desk agents. Had the chance of dining at the hotel restaurant gazette, which was amazing. Also got great recommandations from the concierge. Room was very comfy and clean. Will definitely recommend and come back next time I’m in montreal.
