147 rooms, including suites, 80 single rooms and 66 double rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. Guests of the hotel are welcome to relax in the garden.     This is a SCAM HOTEl,they will charged u for a "damaged or missing things even if u didnt do it. I did not even use the hairblower and they charged me for burning the carpet.pls read all the review of this property as a lot of customers experience what we experienced from them.save your money and go to other hotel.they are SCAMMER

    If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would but I can’t so I gave it a 1.We stayed at this hotel for a week. The rooms were dark and dirty. The staff was incredibly rude. And to make matters worse there was a mouse in my room. When I talked to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do that night and we would have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. The next day arrives and I go to talk to the manager and much to my dismay the manager was not in……. Then I went back and the ladies at the reception desk yelled at us and said the whole situation was our fault. They did nothing to rectify the situation. The only thing they did was send up maintenance with gloves to “look” for the mouse. There was no offer of a new room or a discounted rate. We were forced to get a hotel at the quality in next door and eat the cost of this crap hotel. Please don’t book here unless you are looking to be treated poorly yelled at by staff and risk an infection from a mouse infestation.

    SCAM ALERT!I am a long time guest of this hotel. On my last visit I received a mystery invoice charging my credit card. Strange because I always pay in full through a booking website in full. After many attempts to find out why my card was charge I was given multiple missing item and/or damage excuses. No one would give their names. No description of what was damaged or stolen. I woman at reception told me that I paid too little from the booking website and the director decided to take the difference from my security deposit. I record all conversations and explained that this is wrong. They told me to take it up with the police. I will. Plus with my credit card company and fraud Canada. I am a solo business traveller and have never been accused of any malfeasance in the past. Even with the multiple times staying at this hotel. Also, my credit card was charged this mystery fee a day before I checked out. (Check out May 30th, fee for “missing item” may 29th)No one is willing to help. I’ve been hung up on 6 times now. It took two weeks and multiple calls on my end to receive even an explanation or even a reply. Beware of this hotel and its sister business Empire Suites. I will not let them get away with this and will expose this scam.

    BUYER BEWARE!Booked this on hotels.com and when I went to my room, there were extension cords leading into 5 rooms with the doors all taped up…. peculiar with a strange smell in the hall. The room had broken knobs on draws, scatches that could easily have been painted or touched up… very dated old black laquered furniture. Anyhow, the next morning I had asked the front desk what was going on on my floor and they said “renovations”. When I asked the cleaning staff what was going on on my floor, they looked uneasy. I asked if they were fu igating bedbugs and they reluctantly said yes. This property should not be renting rooms with strong pesticides being used on the same floor. ASK TO SEE THE ROOM BEFORE ACCEPTING IT, however, make sure you can get your. oney back from your booking service if there is a problem. hotels.com does not have an easy refund po,icy- nobody ever responds to complaints

    Theft of guests' property from the room and unhelpful reception staff.

    I had a disappointing experience during my recent stay, particularly with the reception staff, who seemed unhelpful when I raised my concerns about items missing from my room. They maintained that no one had entered, but I believe there was evidence to suggest otherwise, as a member of the housekeeping team had been in my room. Since we were only staying for two nights and did not request housekeeping, I have some concerns regarding the situation. I appreciate that the police were called, as it is important to take matters of suspected theft seriously. Additionally, I encountered several issues during my stay: the ice and vending machines were not operational, the refrigerator was missing from our room, and the breakfast provided did not meet expectations. Overall, my experience was regrettable, and I hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.
