    Front desk said my room number out loud in front of guests

    The only thing I have to say is I am a woman who is traveling alone for work and at the front desk during my check-in the man said my room number out loud twice. It is very dangerous to do so and it was negligent of him. There were guests in the lobby and you never know anyones intentions.

    Booked via choicehotels.com for 157.50$ and stayed here for 2 nights. I stayed here a few times in last 3 years when it was a HIExpress, and they just switched to Choice the week before. Arrived before noon, room was not ready, so i just parked there and took shuttle bus to my event in Chambly and came back around 6PM.Was provided a ground floor as I requested (as i travelled with me ebike). Rooms did not change too much for HIE days. Smallish room with king bed, old leather ottoman, LCD TV with hard to use remote (batteries?) but which i connected my Roku stick, microwave, fridge, and clean adapted bathroom with large shower stall. ONly main issue was lack of electrical outlets....Breakfast was "HIE" style, they still have that HIE pancake maker, eggs, sausage, breads, fruits, muffins, pleasant.There is a nice bike lane in front of hotel so this is a good choice for cyclist. They even let me store my bike in conference room after checked out so i could charge the bike while i was at my event! A lot of the closeby restaurants are out of business, except Boston pizza...there are more options less than 5 minutes drive and they do provide 10 to 15% discount at a couple of those (present your room card).

    WARNING!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! IN my 34 years of business travel this was by far the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was so dirty, with black mold on the shower head that I didn't take a shower for fear of catching an ilness. The room had an odor of cigarette smoke and was very old and worn out.The side entrance door had been forced open so the door and lock were damaged. You could simply pull the door open! No security at all. Security is needed because police were there throughout the morning as two separate hotel guests had their cars stolen from the hotel parking lot during the night!!!! There was a security camera up on the roof aimed toward the area where the cars were stolen but it was not plugged in!! The hotel staff handled it all in a manner that said they are used to this happening. Oh well, another car stolen. Ho Hum.Horrible. Horible. Horrible. IHG you should be so embarrassed by this location.

    Clean and quiet, but eat breakfast somewhere else

    The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. It was really perfect until breakfast. There was not enough seating. When we arrived there were no eggs, no bacon and no beans. There were no muffins or English muffins and the only thing remaining was while bread. As we were wondering what to do, the gentleman from the kitchen came with half a gallon of milk and announced this was the last milk for the day. Soon, as I was making my coffee someone came with a bowl of cereal and drained the coffee jug. Eventually we got the seats, waited just long enough to grab some beans and half cooked bacon " the eggs will be ready in another 5 minutes") and left. This- was a disaster. My rating is for the room, and the convenient location
