  You can stay for one or two days

  The hotel is located in the city center, very close to shopping centers. There is no elevator in the hotel itself, but there are many stairs. That's why I gave it a 4.

  Slippery in the shower. Hard to air condition. Next to a sex store and homeless people sitting on the stairs. You can hear every door closing and opening all night long. VERY noisy. Flies in the hotel room and the breakfast area. No air conditioning in the common areas. Breakfast is white or wheat bread. With choice of cereal and broken cereal dispensing containers. There’s also a bowl of banana, bananas and apples. The flies have been landing on. It’s a bunch of buildings put together with a series of stairs. The studios have a private bathroom, but some rooms are hostile style and share a bathroom. Several flights of stairs to carry your bags. Missing drains. Multiple burnout lightbulbs. Toilet needs repair. They did do a great job posting the Wi-Fi password and multiple areas so it was easy to find.

  Location is great, but...

  Think about your wants and needs before considering a reservation at this place. It's important to understand that it operates more like a hostel or guest house rather than a hotel. There are no private bathrooms or kitchen facilities available and lacks concierge services. The beds might not meet everyone's comfort expectations, and the breakfast they provide consists mainly of cereal, toast, and fruit. The floorboards are creaky, and the walls are thin. While the experience wasn't terrible, it also didn't reach hotel status. This could be a suitable choice if you're traveling on a budget or have flexible accommodation preferences. At least it’s conveniently located near the metro and downtown areas and was fine for a one-night stay.

  Well-located, large room but...

  The room is very large and pleasant in itself but small details here and there are to be reviewed: no light bulb on the bedside lamp, impossible to operate the TV and the desk drawer was missing. We were only there for one night, so these details were not really important. The hotel is well located in the center.

  Cheap but kinda lousy

  I’ll start this review by saying something nice: this is an inexpensive hotel. If price is your one concern, read no further. I’d stayed at this hotel twice before. It’s more of a glorified dorm or hostel than anything else. And that was OK in the past. On this visit, it seemed that the management had just stopped paying attention. The chain on the toilet was broken. The carpet in the halls is dirty and threadbare. The blinds in our room were askew (see photo). One power outlet didn’t have a plastic fitting around it, so plugs fell out (see photo). The sink basin in the bathroom is detached partially from the wall. There was no hand or bar soap anywhere in the room, which seemed odd, especially for this time in history. There was an iron but no ironing board in the closet, which did however contain a full-sized child’s playpen. The hot water heater takes up half the bathroom (see photo). The towels were like tissue paper.But it was clean!Just be forewarned: you’re getting exactly what you pay for here. I think I’m done with this place. The Montreal city took our hotel and we could not do any renovation. We had only 1 week to prepare for re open. I know that it was not perfect during your stay. But we work hard every to fix it.
