    Not worth the money

    rating21 Mar 2026

I stayed here and was very disappointed. The room was not very clean, the hotel felt old and worn-out, and it is in a sketchy area. The walls were thin and noisy, the AC sounded like a tractor, and the bathroom had a strong odor. Many lights didn’t work, and the furniture was in poor condition. Lampshades were damaged, and I even spotted cockroaches. I had to bring candles and air fresheners just to make the room bearable. The continental breakfast was minimal, just a to-go bag with sugary drinks and a small cantaloupe. This place desperately needs cleaning and upgrades. It is definitely not worth the money and I will not be returning.

    Absolutely horrible

Definitely suggest getting a different hotel, the noise is horrible there, rooms are cold, and the unruly other guests are ridiculous, on top of the awful beds

Basic you understand that this is a 2 star when you arrive. The outside needs a lot of upkeep

Room was functional furniture is dated. All that said if you just need a place to sleep and head out this works for my needs

Charged us $265 a night instead of the going $82 a night

    rating13 Apr 2025

My sister and I went to Moosejaw to watch the Men’s World Curling event. When we arrived we found that the place we had booked was closed so had to find other accommodations. The owner of the travel lodge knew our unfortunately circumstances and took advantage of our situation and charge us $265.00 a night for four nights for a total of $1,064.00 . Imagine how we felt upon getting back home to B.C. and find that the regular rate for the same room is $82.00 a night for a total of $360.00. I would certainly not recommend this place besides being dishonest, the rooms are old and we were only allowed two towels. This is not how a business should be run..

    TERRIBLE place to stay

    rating23 Sept 2024

DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE. Place should be inspected! Dirty. Cockroach in bathroom. Luckily it wasn’t winter as the door was not well sealed and you could see daylight around the edges. It was a colder evening but no heat. No extra blankets in the suite. We had our 2 grandsons and one was crying it was so cold. Went to front desk and they gave a portable heater and she brought extra bedspreads. Only plugged heater for a short time as we were unsure about leaving it on. Extension cords everywhere that went across baseboard heaters so probably good there wasn’t heat on. Some outlets didn’t work. Floor in the kitchen area was sticky….so we didn’t take our shoes off. Only good thing was the beds were comfortable (but I was worried about bed bugs). The sofa in the room looked like it came from the dump. Seedy part of town. I wish we had read reviews before booking it. It has been decades since we stayed in a Travelodge and they used to be reputable. Some questionable individuals in the area also. Expensive room for its condition. And when we booked in we had booked with 2 queen beds and a cot (which website said it had). When we arrived he said 2 beds and we said we also booked a cot. He said they didn’t have cots. We advised the website said they did. His reply was the room had 3 beds. TERRIBLE place. We did not check out in the morning….just left our key on the counter and left.
