    Nice location, well appointed and engaged staff

    We recently stayed with the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson on a Anniversary Road Trip. This location is very well appointed, clean and inviting and the staff is very attentive and engaged. When we arrived at our room there was a lovely hand written note with a bottle of champagne which was a nice surprise. We found the location to be very walkable to downtown Nelson and the walkway along the lake was a plus. Our only suggestion would be for some hooks to be added to the bathroom so that they is a place to hang towels or housecoats. Thank you for a nice stay!

    Lovely experience by the lake

    Great setting on the lake . Welcoming staff, easy parking. Reasonable pool facility. Lake view room well equipped and comfortable bed. Ground floor room with access to outside area and seat / table.. nice to view lake but not private, easily overlooked by neighbouring rooms from where conversations carry easily. Bathroom ok but shame shower over bath with shower curtain. Needs an upgrade to walk in shower. 15 minute walk on an incline to downtown Nelson. Just opposite tram , which is a fun way to spend an hour . Brixx brewhouse was great. Quite busy probably because 10 dollar happy hour promotion! Good to have an outside bar table watching the lake. Friendly and helpful staff , good local beer choices and excellent burger menu. Highly recommended chef led experience. I think they do different promotions of their menu most nights of the week. Well worth checking it out. Empire coffee was a big let down. The most unfriendly staff of our whole trip, unpleasant breakfast muffin, unclean and unstable table . Give it a miss,

    As a person with a disability it can be hard to find places that have a roll in shower and that meets my needs. This place is stunning - right on the lake - and the service is exceptional. They are so kind and wonderful, especial the manager Joel. Cannot recommend enough. (Also the restaurants are fab with the best view in town).

    We had two families of 4 stay here in two different rooms and we all loved it. Such friendly staff, a beautiful lobby, stunning lake views, perfect location, free e-bike rentals, lovely coffee shop, awesome restaurant patio, trolley/street car access, clean rooms. Nothing but positive things to say!

    While I don’t think the price we paid quite matched what we received, this was generally a good place to stay. Right on the lake, on the tram line, 5 minute walk into town.The service was very good and responsive, the room was clean and of decent size and it was nice to be able to sit outside the door on a deck chair facing the water.
