  Dishonest staff

  In late August, my husband traveled to the St. Catharines area for work. Prior to his arrival, I contacted several hotels, including the Comfort Inn St. Catherine’s . I spoke with a staff member named Mini, who was very pleasant and assured me that my husband could leave his car parked behind the hotel for several weeks while he worked, with the understanding that he would stay at the hotel once his job was completed. She specifically mentioned that there was space behind the property and that “nobody will even know it’s there.”Based on this assurance, my husband chose to stay at the Comfort Inn. However, we were shocked to receive a call from a local towing company informing us that the car had been towed—at a cost of $1,000. When I contacted the hotel to clarify, I was told that Mini denied ever making such a statement.Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed, and I was left to deal with the towing company directly. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. It is disheartening to realize that the principle of “the customer is always right” does not remotely to apply at the Comfort Inn St. Catherine

  Beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean and quiet hotel in great location. Easy check-in and check-out, friendly staff. Restaurant right next door! Tons of free parking on site. Comfortable bed. TV equipped with great apps and free wifi. Excellent experience. Would absolutely stay here again.

  Don’t stay Here!!! Go Somewhere Else!!

  Go somewhere else!! We got our car broken into and all my belongings stolen. They had a special key fob to get access to my new car. The hotel didn’t care and neither did the cops. Other cars got broken into and even the restaurant workers saw people trying to access cars at 2 in the afternoon. Go somewhere safer. We were parked two doors down from the front desk . Unbelievable!!!

  Friendly front desk agent but seemed like she was the only one working here. They advertise housekeeping but when we returned to the room after a long day out, the bed was not made and the room was basically in the same shape we left it in.The pillows on the bed weren't even really pillows. They were more like cushions and very uncomfortable. The TV was also very old school. Not digital and most of the channels were unclear.They also advertised an on site restaurant which they had, but didn't seem like it was even open during our entire stay.Also didn't seem like there were any local attractions. Had to drive like 20 minutes to find anything

  Don’t stay here go elsewhere where you can have a reasonable room for this kind of money.

  This is a very poor hotel property the outdoor sliding door does not have a screen. The room air feels very awful (poor odour) that said we could not open the sliding door to air the room space.The little fridge shows mold and mold smell where are the health department in St Catharines, Ontario. I will contact the health department.With all of that going on they charge $190 plus tax in addition to $300 Security are you serious!!!Don’t stay here.
