    Good value for Niagara Falls with a view of the falls as a bonus.

    This is not the only Travelodge in Niagara Falls. Another one is a short walk away in the entertainment area of Clifton Hill. There is parking at the back of the hotel and easy access off the riverside road.We were able to book a room with a balcony and view of the river, but were surprised to find we had a view of American Falls, albeit through the border crossing bridge. We could clearly see the light show at night and hear the roar of the falls with the balcony door open. An amazing view for Niagara Falls at this price point.Reception was efficient and courteous. They were happy to give advice and directions. Stairs and lifts to all floors. Seating area on landings and at reception. Decor in the public areas was tired but better in the room. .Everything clean. Rooms were fairly large with comfortable beds WiFi speed good. Fridge and coffee maker. Soft towels and adequate toiletries in the shower room.Short walk to the entertainment area and to view points of the falls,. The riverside path is across the road outside of the hotel.The pool was large enough for lane swimming. The hot tub was warm enough for relaxation.There was no food offered at this out-of-season quiet time.Good value for Niagara Falls with a falls view as a bonus.

    The stay was great my kids enjoyed the pool and the server at breakfast she was amazing. She made the guest feel so much like family. Thanks for a great stay.

    Hotel location is great. Nice to have the pool, hot tub and sauna. Room pretty small for the price. Requested two queen beds and got two doubles. Strong mildew smell, hits you in the face right when you walk in. Our heat wasn't working one of the days and it was very cold in the room. Instead of offering to move us to a different room, we were given a space heater and I am pretty sure it was against code. Internet/wifi connection not strong and could barely connect.

    They do not offer housekeeping, first time I've ever dealt with this. We had two rooms for four days and our sheets were never changed. We had to chase down hotel staff for towels and toilet paper, and call to have them remove our garbage on Day 2. They have also kept our security deposit, claiming we had a pet (we flew there from Nova Scotia with absolutely no animals) and I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my $200 back. The hotel itself smells very musty, there's a lack of ventilation and things are falling apart. There's also only a "Fallsview" if you have a balcony on the front and you lean over the railing and crane your head to the right, then you can see a corner of it. We tried the buffet one day and it was awful (powdered eggs and freezer burnt sausage), however the server was lovely. The wifi is extremely spotty, so if you need to work on vacation like I do. this hotel is a bad choice. Overall I regret choosing this hotel, it definitely soured our trip and we're kind of in shock at the behavior of the manager. I didn't want to leave this review but after a week of trying to get our $200 back and him refusing to answer my calls I am not sure what else to do!
