    Lakeside dining room: Disappointed. French onion soup; no onions, very little cheese. Full of broth and bread. Not good.Caesar salad was absolutely pathetic. Small, less than fresh lettuce; all for 17 bucks. Friends had fish; excellent. Another had the beef rib; excellent. Oysters; excellent. So not all bad.

    The interior and the dining and the whole experience was a whole lot better than you would imagine looking at the hotel from the outside. We had a lakeside suit which was a lovely room, not luxurious but large and well lit. Staff were young but all well trained and charming, the food was OUTSTANDING - we had the cerveza muscles which were best I’ve ever had. Great location, pools aren’t great but we didn’t use them. Would stay here again

    We held a retirement party event at Manteo and invited friends from all over North America who came to help us celebrate. Our experience with the Eldorado/Manteo was fabulous from beginning to end. The service exemplary, the staff so pleasant and eager to please in every way possible. Big shout out to Riley and Lexxie for going above and beyond and making our weekend so special in every way. Thank you so much!

    Riley - the young gentleman at reservations in this charming hotel, was our first port of call- & he couldn’t have done a better job!He was bright, attentive, friendly & professional. He handled our arrival ( with no notice I may add) with such competence & made the whole booking process smooth & welcoming!We had the most gorgeous room with stunning views, comfortable bed & bathroom- I wish we had time to stay longer. This hotel exceeded our expectations & Riley played a key part in that. A definite must stay- if in Kelowna!

    Are you kidding me!!! $433.00 a night for this!!The check in - most unwelcoming. A demand for a credit card and ID - no welcome to the Eldorado. No explanation about parking, amenities, wifi or help with luggage. Room OK but not exceptional. Had to ask for ice as there is none available on the floors. Restaurant very expensive and mediocre food. Good waitress but really! If you’re not “nouveau riche” you won’t enjoy a stay here.
