    We stayed at the Royal Kelowna for 3 nights in a 2Bdrm Suite + Den.Pros: great location, walking distance to downtown Kelowna shops and restaurants Great view over the lagoon and lakeFree rental cruiser bikesNice pool and hot tub overlooking the lake Small but very nice fitness room overlooking the lakeTwo full bathrooms (large master bath plus another decent-sized with shower stall).Separate laundry room with small washer and dryer Cons: A few misses in terms of cleanliness and supplies - though housekeeping was very quick to address itA bit of a strange layout with a beautiful, big master bedroom overlooking the lake and huge master bath; and then small second bedroom in the back of the suite where the “window” is glass blocks overlooking the corridor. The “den” was in fact a 3rd, even smaller bedroom with no windows. We had an enjoyable stay overall, and it was great to be right on the waterfront.     We stayed for a night before heading to Vancouver. The two bedroom suite was spacious - there was a master bedroom with a super huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, a smaller ensuite bedroom, and a third tiny bedroom. Furnishing was a little dated.It might be the case that they experienced issues with security in this area in the past, that's why you'll need to be buzzed in/have the hotel access card to get into the lobby. The parking garage is also gated.It's in a good location, right in the city center, and many restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel.     Entrance didn't wow us (we missed the turn-off too, no street signage). We were advised our traveller card could not be used and we may have to find alternative accommodation. This was most disappointing, considering we had used the card at every other location across Canada and the US so far. We received no assistance with our luggage either. The room appeared large, but the spaces were actually quite small. The bedroom faced internally, so we had hotel hallway lighting shining in all night. The room was also stiflingly warm with no apparent way to cool it down. Toiletries supplied were minimal, no on-site restaurant, and very dated styling/decor/furniture. Considering it was advertised as luxury, we were disappointed. Will stay next door at the Marriott next time.     Make sure to book a King Suite

    The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location for walking around downtown Kelowna. If looking at this hotel, be forewarned that suites with queen beds all face The Delta hotel next door. In fact, they look over the patio for the restaurant, OAK & CRU. The music on the outdoor speakers starts at 8AM and goes until 10 or 11 PM. Apparently suites with a king bed face the other direction. Sadly, they did not have any kings available when we booked.
