    Our second stay since July and another great experience. Sure the hotel could use a renovation..... but for me cleanliness and service are key. the policy of oncea week hosuekeeping would definitley have had me pushing back but since it was a one night stay I didn't have to (hotel GM for 30 years that will call any GM out as this as a cash grab-I picture the head office analyists with their caluclators adviusing that BS) But the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The 5 star review belongs to Alex. An absolute gem - from the welcome, engaging conversatio and courtesy call he did not miss a beat in delivering exceptional service. He was on Chocie rewards, dealing with guests and calls and keeping the floors so clean. I'd hire him in a heartbeat! great hire.... made my stay.

    I was very disappointed in this Comfort Inn. I have always considered the comfort inn as a reliable and consistent place to stay, but this experience certainly removes Comfort Inn's from my list of places to stay.First off, the property outside is overgrown and unkept. Then the stairwell was missing one tread cover and another was dangerously loose. But.... what really gives this review a bad rating was the bed. It was completely concaved in the middle - even without laying on it, you could see the dip into the middle. It was a very hard bed with a broken middle that you would just roll down into. I have never experienced anything like it. I have left a ton of reviews on Trip Advisor and Expedia, and I always find the good in a place. My attitude is that if it is clean and has a comfortable bed, I can overlook almost anything. The room itself was clean - but I cannot overlook the bed even a little bit. We requested a room change to the front desk, but were told that the place was completely sold out for the night. In full transparency, they did discount the room $50 at check out when I complained about the bed. (but this still meant we paid almost $250 for a sleepless night. ) Sorry Comfort Inn - you're chain is now off my list.

    Good budget hotel with great staff.

    We stayed for one night on our biking trip. Check in was very welcoming. We had a ground floor room with a sliding door and could store our bikes in the room which was nice. Room was ok, could use an update but was clean, bed a little soft, shower worked fine. AC was working good and not too loudly. Coffee always available and good, breakfast was good. Ladies working in the morning at breakfast and check out and housekeeping were all very nice and helpful. Restaurants close by. We had no issues and would stay again.

    I have been a hotel GM for overy 30 years and have stayed in many hotels from 2 to 5 stars. At the end of the day great service, a clean room and things working as they should are what really matters. We arrived at the hotel just after three. The young man working was extremely friendly. there were some hiccups finding a ready room but he was on top of it and so apologetic. Housekeeping had obviosuly had a tough day (multiple cots in the hall told the story) but were friendly and greeted us. The room was very clean and although the reno is not recent it has been well maintained. here's hoping they get the latest version as I stayed in Stony Creek and experienced it. LOVE the new market - we did not have those in my Comfort Inn time. I checked out with the front office manager in the morning and did see here name tag but her name escapes me :) She was also very freindly and reactive to a very small issue (loose toilet seat). I also saw at least three more back of the house staff that were qick to smile and greet me. Great job Comfort Inn Orillia!

    Convenient and Comfortable Stay

    Had a great stay at Comfort Inn Orillia. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and fast, which I appreciated after a long drive. The room was roomy with a cozy sofa, making it feel like a home. Convenient location with restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby. The hot breakfast was tasty and filling.
