    After a long drive, this place was just what we needed. Friendly staff, comfy, clean room, awesome pool and hot tub, and great restaurant attached as well as breakfast included.

    The room was an average size, but the stains on the ceiling and a loud, constant hum in the bathroom made the stay uncomfortable. The noise only stopped if we kept the door closed. There was also a bucket in the hallway with an open ceiling above it, which didn’t inspire confidence.The TV quality was extremely poor—it looked like watching a low‑quality recording someone filmed on their phone. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment: the eggs were unpleasant, the sausages were greasy and tasted off, the butter was rock‑hard and impossible to spread, and the muffins were dry and stale.We were surprised to learn that the hotel offers a hospital rate, as we were in town for a medical procedure and this information would have been very helpful at booking.On a positive note, the front desk staff were pleasant. It would also make sense for the hotel to partner with Kelsey’s for meal discounts since they are attached.

    Our "Choice" Hotel when in Town!

    Good location with lots of restaurants and other amenities nearby. Standard room with lots of parking available. Rates are very reasonable, and an indoor pool and hot tub are found on the lower level. A hot breakfast is served from 6 am to 10 am during the week. A nice lobby and cordial staff are a nice addition. There was some difficulty getting onto the WiFi.

    We arrived at the hotel and were able to check in upon arrival even though it was an hour prior to the official check in time. The room and bathroom were clean and it had a bar sink and refrigerator as well as a microwave and coffee maker. It had a wardrobe to hang the clothes, no closet but for one night stay not a problem. The room like in most hotels was a bit dark (could use more lighting) and the only downside is that the room smelled musty. Other than this it was a good stay. They offer a morning breakfast that included omelets, sausages, an automatic 2 serve pancake maker, juices, yogurt, bread, toaster, coffee and tea etc. Another convenient thing is that there is a Kelseys with indoor access (please see separate review for the restaurant). We would not hesitate to stay again the next time we find ourselves in Peterborough.

    We stayed here as part of a large business gathering. Hotel staff were very accommodating including arranging for a garden hose to wash our company vehicles. The morning included breakfast was great as well. Having a Kelsey's Road House restaurant on site was a good supper meal choice too.
