Location

This property is ideally located in the heart of the city business district. Attached to the British Columbia Provincial Government Complex, the hotel is just one block from City Hall, one block from the Provincial Courthouse and four blocks from the Via Rail train station. Shops and the city centre can all be reached in about 5 minutes by car. Nearby attractions include the Two Rivers Gallery (around 1 minute's drive), Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum (around 8 minutes' drive), Pacific Western Brewing Co (around 10 minutes' drive), The University of Northern British Columbia (around 12 minutes' drive) and Noah's Ark Adventureland (around 20 minutes' drive away).

Facility

193 non-smoking rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     A comfortable, friendly hotel

    We stayed for one night whilst travelling on the Via Skeena train from Jasper to Prince Rupert.It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Near the station, there were a few people who were obviously on drugs and sadly slumped in door ways. The hotel was great, very comfortable, all the amenities we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Good night sleep and back to the train station for an 8am departure. Helpful having a Starbucks on the ground floor.Would recommend.

    We stayed here on our way to Alaska. It was conveniently located downtown within walking distance of a few restaurants. Driving in, we were a bit concerned by some of the people we passed, but any concerns were alleviated by the secure parking garage across the street. Of the Wyndham properties we stayed at, this one was by far the nicest. Everything was modern and updated, almost plush. We would stay here again.     I generally stay at the Ramada because of its location and value. Staff are always friendly and there's several restaurants, bakery and cannabis store among others. Any requests I've entered during reservation is accommodated.     Rude customer service.

    Rude customer service by a gentleman . There were no water bottles in the room. Asked for a water bottle as we checked in so we had no water available with us. Advised we only offer 2 water bottles. We can’t provide more and started arguing. I felt really embarrassed at the same time. Won’t be going back there ever again and would not recommend anyone to stay there.
