The hotel is close to theatres, sports venues, and provides a gateway to Alaska from British Columbia's northern capital. The hotel is located 6.4 km away from Prince George Airport (YXS).

The hotel has 144 rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, room service and a laundry service. Rooms

    The most noticeable thing I noticed with my stay here is the sub standard cleanliness.The rooms at first sight looked ok, but when you look close they could be cleaner. Little hairs in the shower, surfaces bit sticky and not cleaned well etc. And what is with the super tiny cheap little bathroom soaps? Could the hotel possibly spend just a few cents more of what we pay on bathroom toiletries?I stay in a lot of hotels for work and I’ve never seen such miniature useless little soaps?Upgrade that a bit, please.And lastly, the gym and the pool? The gym is OK but the pool totally disgusting.Whoever is cleaning it is not doing it correctly.Either get it cleaned properly or better yet close it down till it’s renovated because it is disgusting.The gym is fine.On another note, I found every staff member I encountered was pleasant and nice.Oh, and one last thing, the Rockford restaurant was an experience I will not return to.The staff there were incompetent and slow and with only two other people in the restaurant I still had to wait 15 minutes to get service.I really got the feeling that I was an inconvenience.Overpriced crappy food too!     While here, asked about catering a party to. Left my name and number, was promised a call, well 2 weeks later, still waiting.     Exceptional service and amazing hotel room!

    It was a rough day for me to begin with, driving 12 hours from Washington, close to 1000 km and barely ate without taking much break.I put check-in time at 3 pm but hell nah I definitely did not make it in time.Anyway, I arrived at 9.45 pm, sluggish and felt super tired. I walked in and was awed with Simran's exceptional service! He greeted me and asked me how I was doing. I told him all my journey driving from Washington to Prince George, barely eating, and felt super tired. Simran immediately let me know not to worry that he is going to take care of everything for me. I called earlier to request for a late check-out and the lady on the phone told me that can only be done in person by the front desk, and voila, Simran said that will happen. He asked me what time I'd like to leave and I let him know that id love to leave at 1 or 2 pm. Voila, Simran told me im good till 1 pm.I was super hungry and needed some food. I was looking for lounge or restaurant or maybe a bar with food options but i came in too late for anything to be opened. And again, Simran offered me some snacks from the lounge from the "VIP" club member only area. I grabbed an apple and a blueberry muffin. But turned out my fridge did not have any water at all but a bottle of wine on the table, and yet Simran, once again, offered me a bottled water. I then asked how much was the price of the wine because at that point I was super thirsty and there was no water to drink at all in the fridge. And Simran said don't worry about it, it is complimentary. I was like, "really? Are you sure??" And Simran was like, you had a long day, enjoy it and rest well.Let me tell you. I have been a diamond member for Marriot and Hilton (in fact I paid with Hilton card) and also a member for IHG and Hyatt World and very often travel around for business related, yet, I have never encountered sooo many complimentary services. Simran made it happen. You know that 12 hours drive to Prince George felt amazing because Simran understand how it feels to be on the road for hours, barely eating, and voila, you got the best service ever offered to you. I been to many Marriots and Hiltons but no, their service was never this "OUTSTANDING" if you would like me to emphasize.Oh.... Did I tell you that my microwave did not work and the electricity for that specific microwave, just seemed cut off? I told Simran, "that's fine I'll eat my leftover cold, i get used to it anyway". But no. Simran told me, "don't worry, ill open a room just for you to use the microwave and then you can return the key back to me". I was like, "what? You gonna do all that hassle just for me to reheat my food?"I was just out of words at this point. I kept telling Simran, well maybe God really doesn't want me to eat tonight and let me starve until tomorrow. But no.... Hell nah, if God is in the way, Simran would open another room just for me to reheat that food and move on.Let me recap. Coming in late, got in upgraded room from Simran, got some snacks from VIP club members lounge, got free water and complimentary wine, and got a temporary room just to heat up my food. I am telling you, I have "NEVER" received complimentary services over and over again within a span of an hour in any other hotels I have been to.Simran was super exceptional, beyond standards! If I could recommend him for anything else other than Google reviews, hell I'd be willing to write my testimony for him.Anyway... For the room itself tho, excellent in everyway. Kitchen is very clean and neat with all the kitchenette in each drawer!! However, i was lowkey sad that they don't even have some packets of "salt and pepper" but they do have sugars! Yasss for my coffee in the morning. I kind of wish they have at least a small container of packets Salt and Pepper. That's it. Perfecto!Everything else? Beyond "EXCEPTIONAL!"4 star hotel? Hell nah. I'd say 5 stars.     Simran was very nice I would recommend. Comfortable bed, super clean room and awesome housekeeping staff. The place is very quiet as well .     The team here really provided the best experience to my family! From the gifts and goodies, to the service provided especially by the front desk! Kartik was so welcoming and made sure all of the needs of my uncle and aunt were accommodated. He went above and beyond. Kuddos to the best front desk they have encountered in a while, Anna. She was super charming and helpful. It feels like the team isn’t working here. This is their passion.
