Wonderful hotel in a wonderful city.

We spent three weeks touring Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. All hotels were very good to excellent, but our favourite stay was at The Clarendon. The primary reason for this was for two reasons, the location and the staff. First the location, it is absolutely perfect, and easy walk to all the areas we wanted to visit. A very large choice of nice places to eat, with every price range. We ate most of our breakfasts in the hotel. Very courteous staff and good breakfast. The staff were very patient with my attempts to speak French, we even had a few chuckles about my ineptness with the language, although I was thanked for trying. The young woman that checked us in was particularly friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

Sleepless night - Elevator Noise

A good night's sleep is one of the most basic expectations of any hotel stay, especially for business travellers. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver. I booked Sept 18th and I was recommended the corporate room, which was comfortable and included a desk, but it was located directly in front of the elevator. The constant noise made it difficult to get a proper night's sleep.I raised my concerns that night and but was told no other rooms were available. The next morning after a sleepless night i checked out early and decided speaking with the supervisor hoping for some form of accommodation or goodwill gesture but was advised that nothing could be done unless I had plans for an extended stay, which was not possible as I had a flight to catch the next day. The hotel has many positives, including a great location and friendly staff. However, for the premium price paid, I expected better sleep quality and a more customer-focused response. I left feeling they missed the mark and failed and opportunity to make this right ..

Stayed a couple of nights after cruise to explore more. Great location central to most places. Room not massive but big enough for one. Bathroom was big, good shower, no view from room. Reception really helpful. I though the restaraunt attached had a good menu for lunch and dinner but breakfast wasn't what i liked. Could hear some noise from the corridor.

Hotel full of character in a brilliant location to explore the streets of Old Quebec. Rooms well furnished (a bit cramped with three bedside tables) and standard of cleaning very good. Highly recommended

Such a charming, cozy, and incredible getaway

My partner and I had such an incredible getaway at Hotel Clarendon! From the second we walked in, we were blown away by how classy and charming the reception area is. Our room was wonderfully cozy, impeccably clean, and well appointed, featuring a super comfy bed that gave us the best sleep and a shower with heaps of hot water. The staff were always so polite, welcoming, and friendly, making us feel right at home throughout our visit. The location is an extremely perfect base for exploring Quebec City, as you are just steps away from tons of fabulous shops, cute cafes, and delicious restaurants. We definitly cannot wait to return to this gem on our next holiday, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
