    Good value for an airport hotel

    We used this for a one night stay after a late night arrival from a late flight. The hotel was very good for a hotel of its price range near an airport. Comfy beds, decently sized room and nice welcome from reception staff. The room was clean and well-maintained, and had better quality facilities than I expected. Breakfast had a good selection of foods with acceptable quality for the price range.

    Unpleasant experience started at check in with Xavier the receptionist who was unwilling to provide a room at 3 pm gas booked through Amex platinum not even for a wash and change which is a normal in hospitality Worst happened when GM Michael gestionnaire was un willing to accommodate our pet and politely told us to check out because of the pet allowing later after a written declaration Overall experience was good breakfast is nice and fulfilling nice tea an coffee full day Next day receptionist was super sweet and our check out made our day pleasant

    The taxi charged us the fixed price of CAD 21.90 for the short ride to the hotel at 11 pm. The check-in was fast and friendly. No complaints about the room, a little basic but with everything in it for a couple of nights and quiet facing the parking lot in the back. Very good breakfast and excellent service. Staff refilling dishes all the time and keeping the area clean. Sitting space is a little tight.On the second day the reception staff had a little language problem but we got what we wanted.We took a bus into the city. It's a good connection, one change, leaving not far from the hotel. Ticket price was CAD 4.00 (exact fare required) p.p. one way.

    Clean simple hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The downside is no elevator to the second floor. Also, beds are not comfortable.

    Extreme Overwhelming Odor of Cat Urine

    Room itself has 2 good sized beds, small fridge, desk area, nice large TV, lots of clean towels, but this was unfortunately *all* overshadowed but the absolute most disgusting overwhelming scent of cat urine. We booked here because we're traveling with our dog, so I understand some rooms are assigned for pets, however this was so intense - like a cat(s) had been urinating for multiple days.When I approached the front desk and the kind young man working came to smell for himself, you knew his senses were assaulted by the stench. His manager (not on site) suggested the smell was a cleaning agent. I said unless you clean with cat urine... He then told his worker to spray the room with perfume which would make it worse. Unfortunately it's high travel season, was 10pm and we have a dog so no other hotels had space. I asked them to comp the room as it was so vile. He said we could get a refund, but would have to leave because if we used the room then they'd need to clean it. *Dear Reader* - this room will need professional cat urine remediation. Room 137 - refuse to take this room if offered to you The only positive is the kindness of the young man working the front desk alone trying his best (Evening August 11th) who when I said would you want your mom or dad to sleep smelling this? He just kept repeating what his manager said - he can spray it with perfume
