Location

Located at the edge of Québec, the hotel is accessible from the motorways 20 and 40, the train station and the airport, whilst Old Québec City is 10 minutes away and shopping centres, restaurants and bars are a short walk away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 12-storey building with 3 lifts and 263 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Extremely dirty run down room upon arrival , squeey bed ++ and all . The evening staff said they had no time for us as he was too busy when we requested to speak to a manger about the situation. The light doesn't work in the room the floor wasn't swept it was very very dirty.hair in the bed and on the toilet seats . I bought lysol and cleaned everything myself even the questionable stains on the rough shaped white leather chairs with tears .I was so surprised so I took pictures since the night managver told my husband to go away he's to busy. For the price I paid I'm not at all impressed. ⁸Will definitely inform our hockey manager.     Major Disappointment!!

    We usually visit Quebec City almost every summer and I want to share my experience at L'Hotel Classique on Laurier Ave. Having stayed at both L'Hotel Quebec and the Plaza Hotel just a few blocks away and anticipating the same quality and service as the cost was similar - Hotel Classique was a big disappointment! The internet pictures are obviously quite old and the hotel has not been maintained. Counter in room was worn and dented - sofa was stained - wallpaper peeling - touch up painting needed, electric heaters lying on ground etc. in garage area. It was instantly obvious that little time, money or attention has been given to maintaining the appearance of this hotel. We were also surprised to find that the rooms receive no housekeeping attention for 48 hours unlike any other hotel - so you have coffee for the first day only. My wife was not a happy camper when she saw my choice of hotels - and I regret not booking at either of the two hotels mentioned but was fooled by the pictures. Be warned!!     Extreme Health Hazards

    I have never experienced anything like this. The room was filthy. Chewing gum jammed into the keyhole of the bathroom, hairy used soap in the bathroom, a smoke detector that had been ripped out of the ceiling with loose hanging wires, with the smoke detector left on the table. And that was just the beginning. On the floor next to the bed there was a bloody used needle/syringe that looked like it had been used for heroine. On the balcony someone had left wooden boards with rusty nails sticking upwards. I could not believe what I was seeing. The balcony was unlit and we checked in at night, not knowing the dangers in the room. My wife walked onto the balcony and stepped on the nail board. We spent the night in the ER. And what was most unbelievable was that someone had actually made up the room before we arrived. They neatly made the bed and cleaned the sink, but not the shower, and they left the hazards everywhere. I carefully picked up the bloody syringe from the ground and brought this down to the supervisor/manager. I did not find this until the next morning. I was furious, as we were there with our 4 children, and I felt that their safety had been jeopardized. The supervisor actually told me not to be rude, and that I should be glad she was helping out at all. I asked for the contact information of the hotel owner so that I could tell them about how their hotel was being managed. They declined to share this information. I am contacting a lawyer after our stay here. If you value the safety and well being of your family, stay away. I will attach photos to verify what I wrote here.     Terrible Communication: Taking Our Money without Service

    I am warning the subscribers not to stay at this hotel: Their communication concerning their bookings is a F. I canceled the hotel more than two weeks in advance, called the hotel, took the name of the person, and yet they refuse to refund our stay. I highly encourage the membership to stay away and find one of the finer properties more suited and welcomed to travelers. When you prepay a reservation online, the price is lower, due to the fact the the reservation is non refundable. It is the one and only reason the price is lower usually. We are very welcoming with our guest and we are extremly proud of the courteous service we offer. The policies are the policies, if you book a non refundable room, we simply cannot refund the stay. We understand that plan can change sometimes, that is why we always offer another booking option that is fully refundable 24 hours prior to your arrival. However, this is not the booking you made. Our fine property is very welcoming to all travelers. We stay available if you have any questions, and please, give us a call if you need any assistance in your reservations in the future.     Very basic hotel with big prices that just dont do it justice. Disappointed of room, ac hadto be regulated by bell boys after calling front desk 2x, service attidtude at front desk was very non chalant, there was no chairs in the room, and half the towels missing for a 4 person visit with 2 queen size beds, pics on website look clean and chic but actuality a little old and run down. Busy , loud and small pool, no drinking water. There was a microwave in the room and bell boys were kind enough to bring a kettle to boil water. It is strategically placed right in front of laurier shopping center witha walmart and grocery s open till 9 pm. Made the best of it but, Would not stay here again at 260$ for 1 night.
