    Great hotel , clean room , nice breakfast , Bianca at the front desk was super nice and helpful . Walked to old city in about 20 minutes no problem , nice safe area, would stay here again .

    Hotel website is at best not updated, but in reality, misleading. Rooms nothing like website, on book in advised room on second floor, and would have to get out own luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Finally moved down to first but still had get luggage up stairs ourselves, bit older and health issue. Moved out of original room as nothing worked. Booked here because of restaurant, as per website, but doesn’t exist and hasn’t for some time.. misleading at best. Continental breakfast offers little and one poor staff member trying to manage!! It’s not central and if travelling with luggage, give it a wide berth. Positive front desk staff were great and rooms were clean

    We had one of the self catering suites, suitable for up to 4 people, for 3 nights. This was up 2 floors of stairs; a mild inconvenience. Although the beds were great, I felt the rest of the facilities a little tired, with the kitchen being of 1980's design to match it's mismatched crockery and cutlery. Otherwise perfectly functional. The self-service breakfast also perfectly adequate. Plenty of free parking. Walkable to the city centre, about 45 minutes, and a supermarket about 10 minutes walk. Staff we met were all great, a credit to the business. Initially I felt the value to be on the wrong side of average, but with it being Labour Day Weekend, I'll up that score.

    I called the hotel two hours before my arrival to request an early check-in, but they said no. When I arrived at 4 p.m. and went to my room, a maintenance worker was in the bathroom and asked me not to use the shower for an hour. The bathroom and shower were dirty. To make matters worse, they demanded a $200 deposit for a room that was very low-standard and looked nothing like the photos on the website.

    Nice hôtel, easy checkin, free parking next to the hotel, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed, good location and helpful staff. I would recommend and come back anytime !!! Walking distance to la grande allée and be sure to stop by la poutinerie!!
