  The room only had lights on the side with the bed. The other side, with the couch and so-called closet, is totally dark. Also, one of the bed side lights didn't work. The AC made a weird sound as it turned off. But the worst part was that there was a mattress spring sticking up, right in the middle of the right hand side of the bed. Also, for those who need one, there is no elevator.

  Service Dog issues, and reservation issues

  I booked this hotel under reservation desk. I booked 2 rooms with service dog. The reservation company, got my reservation screwed up wrong names, not service dog mentioned. Caused me issues at the front desk as they only had one room under my name (spelt wrong) second room was under a name, no idea where they got it. No mention of the service dog. When I got the rooms sorted, had asked for a first floor, said sold out can use 2nd floor. When my daughter went out on at least 3 occations with her service dog she was approached and told not dogs. This caused my daughter great stress. I spoke to the management , they said not on reservations and each time out was with a different shift. The hotel didn't add to the reservations so all staff could see, but all shifts harrassed my daughter.No compensation was recieved from either Reseration desk or the hotel.Dont stay there!!

  Reserved two rooms, received confirmation by email and phone. Even after confirming over the phone, our booking was unexpectedly canceled upon arrival, citing a credit card problem and an altered phone number. The receptionist, doubling as the manager/owner, displayed unprofessional behavior. It appears they might have prioritized a higher-paying guest. Overall, a truly terrible experience.

  Good stay at Eco Lodge Airport Quebec

  Eco Lodge airport offers a fridge and coffee maker in room. There is a communal microwave and an ice machine. There is 24 hour coffee in the lobby with real milk or cream and not coffee whitener. Hard wood floor in room. VG AC. We were on the first floor so easy to unpack car. Good breakfast with fruit and yogurt. Missing meat but did have eggs and beans for protein. Very good price for Quebec city area. Near several restaurants though we ate in the room. We'd stay again for a night. No complaints.

  **Dont Stay Here! 8 inch Switch Blade Found in Unclean Bed

  After checking in at the Econo Lodge Quebec City Airport- 7320 Wilfred-Hamel Boulevard, my sister and I, and her 4 year son settled into our room. Once we got into bed, I felt something underneath the fitted mattress sheet. I stuck my hand underneath to retrieve it, and it was a 8 inch switch blade. It was on top of the mattress cover and under the fitted sheet. There are two problems here: A. Safety- Thank god the switch blade was closed and not open, and that my 4 year old nephew did not find it and hurt himself with it. B. Hygiene- There is no way housekeeping did not see the switch blade when removing the sheets from the previous hotel guest; therefor, the sheets were likely not changed. We reported it to the hotel front desk staff. They simply told us that they would try to contact the previous hotel guest to return the knife. We requested that the manager call us when available. The hotel manager called us and told us we should have requested to change rooms. It was late and my 4 year old nephew was sleeping after a long day of travel. This is unacceptable and certainly not the hospitable standards that a hotel should carry. The manager refused to reimburse us for the room and did not apologize.I would never recommend this hotel due to its very low safety and hygiene standards.
