This hotel is situated only a few steps from Château Frontenac, the Citadel, the Parliament Buildings, Battlefield Park, and the National Museum. The hotel was built in 1898. 45 single rooms and 3 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     AVOID -- NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT!!!!!

    I wish we could leave a 5-star review, and if we stayed, we maybe could have. We planned this trip and paid in advance, as required, for our 8-day stay. We understood the cancellation policy. Unfortunately, I was transferred for work, from Maryland to Missouri (1000+ miles) with only 2 weeks notice, and was required to be in my new location, with all leave cancelled, BEFORE this vacation was to start. I called and explained, and was told NO REFUNDS. I even requested a credit to use later when I COULD use leave for vacation. Still denied. Horrible customer service and no regard for my situation. I would avoid this hotel in case you have any unavoidable emergencies because you'll lose your money!

    This is an old series of street buildings knocked into one. There is a buffet breakfast but no evening meal. No tea or coffee or water in the rooms but freely available on the ground floor. The rooms are fairly small but reasonably appointed with a TV. The hotel is well maintained and an effort made to combine old with new. Fantastic location in the old city and eateries very close by. Best for short stays. Parking available.     AC not working for 2 days - they don’t give a hoot

    Checked in and room was HOT. Some guy who barely spoke English came and put the AC fan on high. Did no good. Next day told them in the morning, they said it would be fixed. It wasn’t. Told them again that afternoon, asked for a new room. Was refused a new room or a move to new hotel. Now being told it will be tomorrow to be fixed which I doubt.     Disappointing

    We were given a room in the semi-basement, which would have been fine were it not for the fact that the room was right across the laundry room, a very busy place at 6:00 AM… And the water temperature in the shower would not go beyond 50 C. Basically, this room should not be rented out. It’s room #25 if you’re booking this hotel. The only plus is the location.

    Perfect boutique hotel in Quebec city

    Checking into this hotel was a breeze! The front desk team (Ibrahima & Jeanne-Aimée) were amazing! We were there for my wife’s 50th birthday and they treated us like royalty. We upgraded our room and it was well worth it. Very spacious and a beautiful view. This was our first visit to Quebec City and this was the perfect boutique hotel. Only a 2 min walk to the terrace of the Chateau Frontenac, 2 min walk to the Citadel and a 10-15 walk to lower Quebec City. Couldn’t ask for a better location!
