    Traveled 30 cities in one year and NEVER happened something like this in my travels

    We stayed two nights in this hotel and what happens to us, I don’t want it to happened to ANYBODY else.We were a party of three friends and we decided to stay in this hotel, besides it is far away from everything, it was OK cost- value! So far so good! When we checked out, we were told that every thing was ok! Yes we did the check out and stayed there until they “release” us. 2 hours after check out, I received a charge of $52 dollars and I ask them immediately and their answer was” the coffeemaker was broken” I immediately replied that we didn’t use the coffeemaker because we travel with a portable water kettle, and their answer was” you should check the room and the coffeemaker “ as you didn’t did that, (because we didn’t use it), they assume we broke it or so they said that to charge us more. As a frequent traveler which last year visited 30 cities a round the world in 9 countries, this is the first time something like this happened to me. They didn’t return me the money, they has been hostile with me, I felt scammed and frustrated so I really want you to be aware of this situation , and make the effort and film a video of everything in the room when you check in, in order to ALWAYS have proof of your rentals,

    Low price as out of the city centre but let down by staff poor

    I was never going to expect luxury for the price paid as this hotel isn't central.. However if you don't mind using public transport (bus 800 every 15 minutes taking 10-15 minutes) it's ideal to avoid parking restrictions in the city. However staff attitude was a huge let down. As I arrived in Québec very early on a night train nowhere to store baggage, I called them. OK if their policy doesn't include that, but despite clearly making it known I would come back later to check-in, all they said was after 4, after 4! Not sorry, we can't store your bag. When I did check-in, staff were not pleasant. Room itself was OK. Air con was however noisy and bath leaked water onto the floor when I showered. WiFi wasn't brilliant. There was a self service continental breakfast from 06:30. Spoilt very much by a member of staff who seemed to patrol the area and would jump in as soon as you say approached putting in a slice of bread into the toaster to show you what to do. There was cooked food, but menu was handwritten and posted up and almost completely illegible. Unbelievably they left a plate out for cash tips!

    The worst motel I have been !!!

    The place was dirty, the bath was dirty there was like a stain of urine in it,couldn't take a shower had to use my kids room for that.The worst hotel I visited, the front desk service was terrible.The power outlets was ripped the phone charger was keeping falling. I will never go to this place again!!!

    After reading many negative reviews here, I was positively surprised. Apart from that the hotel looks old and dark and the air condition was noisy, everything worked well. The receptionist was friendly, the swimming pool was great, the continental breakfast was good and especially the staff in the breakfast room were very service minded and worked hard. There is a bus stop close by, which was useful, as it was totally impossible to get a parking spot in the city.

    Looks like the covid break has allowed for a fresh lick of paint but breakfast was poor, and finding hairs in the shower was not a great experience. Could do with a little TLC on the housekeeping as opposed to threats of charges if sheets are dyed ..
