    Decent enough hotel but nowhere near the tourist area of Old Quebec!

    Firstly do not make the mistake we did! It said near to the City Centre. It is near to New Quebec (which is not the place to be) it is nowhere near Old Quebec. The Road joining the two is about 5 miles but major long term road works as they are building a tram line. The trip takes between 20 mins and 45 mins in a taxi or longer on a local bus. So if you want to see Quebec as a tourist, don’t stay here! We only stayed one night and then moved hotel.The Reception staff were incredibly helpful so thanks to them.The room was ok, decent size bed but not much storage space and no safe.

    We stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately encountered several issues that impacted our experience.At check-in, we were informed that no clean rooms were available and were asked to wait. Despite sitting directly in front of the reception, staff began checking in other guests, and only when we approached again were we told that they had forgotten we were waiting. This created a poor first impression.On the second day, we received a mistaken wake-up call at 5:00 a.m., which disrupted our rest and left us starting the day exhausted and with headaches. We reported this matter to the staff, who assured us that they would follow up regarding compensation. However, we never received any response.While the hotel may have its strengths, the lack of attentiveness and communication during our stay was disappointing. Additionally, special requests, can sometimes limit the options and cause additional delays. That said, forgetting to follow up with you while you were waiting is absolutely not the level of service we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologize for this oversight.We are also very sorry for the phone call at 5:00 a.m. We understand how disruptive that must have been. As I can see in your reservation, a late check out at 2 p.m. was provided as compensation, and we are looking into this internally to ensure it does not happen again.While we’re glad to know that some aspects of the hotel were appreciated, we recognize that communication and attentiveness fell short during your stay.     Warning: Do Not Leave Anything Behind!

    I want to warn future guests: do not forget anything in your room at this hotel. Minutes after checking out, I realized I had left my jacket in the wardrobe. I immediately called the hotel and informed the front desk. Their response? Complete indifference. No urgency, no effort, no care.After my first call, I spent the next three days calling repeatedly, trying to get someone to give proper attention to the matter. Each time, the answer was the same scripted line: “Call back tomorrow.” No action was taken.The result? My jacket was stolen. The staff clearly have no concept of guest service or responsibility. If you lose something here, don’t expect any help — they simply do not care.Protect your belongings carefully. This hotel is far from having the guest at the center of its service.

    First all, there is major road construction near the hotel. You have do lot of diversions. I only spent a night. The room is comfortable. The toilet and bath work well. The bed and pillows are great. Good AC. My only peeve, lack of counter top space around the wash sink, but you can remedy that. I was on 1st floor, something to know, you have go up few steps and down few steps before you reach your room. Which I find strenuous. Breakfast was not part of my room, no comment. There is a water fountain, which I appreciated. The elevators working great, which is a big plus.

    unfortunate road works

    They are currently working in front of the hotel. If you have a room at the front of the hotel, it can by noisy. Nevertheless they offered ear plugs. We could checkin early and were helped by Lindsey who did a great job. The room was spacious and had all comfort needed. There is a pool and gym. I only used the gym that offered all equipment needed for both cardio and weights. They also offer parking. The hotel is located near the highway, so very convenient if you need a sleeping place in between two locations. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was very basic and limited of choice.
