    Booked via Expedia for 111$ / night for 2 nights.Checked in around 5PM and it was quick and easy. The lobby is located in the spa section (an old late 19th century manor) and the rooms are in a more modern 4 floor building next to the house. My room was on ground floor, but there is an elevator for the upper floor. Practical for us with a heave e-bike.The room was super clean, good bed, smartish TV (you can connect phone to TV for streaming), good bathroom, but not much of a view at ground level (parking). Small Fridge and microwave available.There is a small breakfast area (10-15$ options for breakfast) but did not partake as I bought some groceries from IGA near by.Location is great for cyclist (next to Littoral trail) and decent for those visiting Qc by car.

    Have seen some negative reviews but have to say we were very happy with our stay. Very comfortable room, location outside of centre of Quebec but only a ten minute taxi ride at circa C$10 each way. Near busy road but quiet so not an issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Doesn't have much facility in terms of bar or restaurant but just head out as centre of Quebec has many of great options. Overall very good value.

    Bit of a let down

    3rd stop on a 2 week tour of Canada- not staying In top notch accommodation as only really need somewhere to sleep. Previous hotels on our trip were good -:this one bit of a let down. Friendly enough staff and room functional enough - however room not serviced either morning- could of done with clean towels but too late to ask when we returned. Breakfast included with our rate - had on 1st morning - not again! Really not great. No bottles of water in room. We don't expect the ritz but this hotel is massive let down compared to the rest on our trip. Would not recommend and would not return. I would advise you to book elsewhere.

    Great Bargain

    First of all, despite some low or mediocre ratings, I hve to say this is a tremendous bargain and well worth considering for a stay. In fact, the prices I saw prior to booking were so low, I dismissed it as an option. Finally, I looked at it more closely and read TripAdvisor reviews and Expedia reviews and decided to book - and do not regret it at all. The ratings are based on comparison to other hotels at which we have stayed - if price is added into the equation, the ratings would be the highest possible. Check in was fine. Room was a great size, clean and decently arranged. Seating and lighting were not great - chairs were basically plastic and not very comfortable. Shower floor was to slick and a request for safety mat was met with "use a towel". In our 4 days, the maid never once made it to our room despite ours being the first one on the floor. Carpet only at entrance and clearly that was true fr the room above which must have been rented to a family - very noisy in our room. But, once again, the price has to be considered and despite a few shortcomings in comfort and convenience, this hotel offers a great value.

    Probably the worst stay ever. We were created with a very grumpy unsmiling person. Then once in the room, the tv didn’t work and my partner spent 1 hour first evening and one hour second evening just to get a signal, on the second day the provided coffee maker stopped working and we were told that someone would get to in eventually. No spa services were available during our stay and when we ask for a massage we we given a date 2 days after we were leaving and this was with the same person that had just checked us in. We also emailed the owner who was uninterested in our concerns, promised to email us back and we are still waiting it’s been 2 weeks. A most disagreable stay. I definitely would not recommend!
