    Good hotel

    rating20 May 2026

The hotel was great, staff were nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There were many restaurants a short walk from the hotel. We ate breakfast twice at the Casse Crepe Breton next door and found it better value than breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is close to the beautiful Théâtre Capitole, where we attended a show while in QC. Excellent hotel

This is a very well-located hotel in the less touristy part of Old Quebec. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff are helpful and excellent. The restaurant is a one-star Michelin and excellent. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. Nickolas Verrecchia, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Manoir Victoria, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for your wonderful comments! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location in the quieter side of Old Québec, as well as the comfort and spaciousness of your room. It’s especially rewarding to know that our team made such a positive impression with their helpful service. We’re also thrilled that you enjoyed your experience at our Michelin-starred restaurant and appreciated the comfort of the bed and bathroom amenities. Being surrounded by so many great restaurants and boutiques is certainly one of the highlights of staying with us, and we’re glad you were able to take full advantage of it.We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again soon for another memorable stay in Québec City!Warm Regards,Nickolas VerrecchiaFront Desk Manager

    Great building, poor service

    rating12 May 2026

Charming hotel, very clean, inviting reception….so why not 4or5 score? We had lots of guest noise in the corridor outside our room on night one - loud enough for fellow guests to be disturbed on the floor above - they mentioned it in the lift. But room cleaning was the main issue. we were told it wouldn’t be done as we had a do not disturb sign out at 9.30am… We asked 3 times for the room to be made up…and finally staff turned up mid/late afternoon, when we were back using it. No attempt had been made to clean our 2nd room, which had no do not disturb sign out. Guest lifts also used for servicing rooms and delivering supplies to the restaurant Whilst we were waiting for the lift, a male staff member shoved the luggage trolley out of the lift so aggressively it bounced off the wall strange and unsatisfactory behaviour in what is otherwise a good hotel - well located and the hotel shop is also lovely. A shame, as we left feeling we should have dug deeper for the Fairmont! Nickolas Verrecchia, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Manoir Victoria, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the charm and cleanliness of the hotel, our welcoming reception area, our convenient location, and the hotel shop. That said, we are truly sorry to learn about the inconveniences you experienced during your visit. Please accept our sincere apologies for the noise disturbance on your first night, as well as for the shortcomings regarding the housekeeping service. While we fully respect our guests’ privacy when a do not disturb sign is displayed, we understand your frustration regarding the delays and the lack of follow-up for your second room. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. We are also very concerned to hear about the interaction you witnessed involving the luggage trolley. Courteous and professional behavior from all team members is extremely important to us, and your comments will be shared with the appropriate department managers for follow-up and additional coaching where needed. We regret that these issues impacted your overall impression of the hotel, especially since you otherwise enjoyed several aspects of your stay. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us improve both our service and guest experience. We sincerely hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with the seamless stay you expected and deserved.Warm Regards,Nickolas VerrecchiaFront Desk Manager

The location is perfect without being directly in the town center. Literally, 5 minute walk to the Chateau. Rooms were very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Literally, the only negative was the internet went down for 2 days. For those who want to stay in their room. Very clean at a very good price. They have a very popular restaurant. Nickolas Verrecchia, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Manoir Victoria, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location, the quiet and clean rooms, the friendliness of our staff, and the value of your stay. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected issue that affected the service for a short period. We are happy to let you know that the issue has now been fully resolved and the internet is back up and running normally.Your comments are greatly appreciated and help us continue improving the guest experience. We truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again on your next visit to Quebec City!Warm Regards,Nickolas VerrecchiaFront Desk Manager
