  We all love this Hotel and will come back next time in Quebec City

  We 10 seniors stayed this Hotel for two nights. It is located close to Highways 40, 73 and 740. We have visited Lac Beauport, Montmorency Falls Park and winery on the Ile d’Orleans. Enjoying viewing Lake Beauport and Waterfalls. We love free wine tasting at Cidrerie Verger Bilodeau and went home with wine. Having dinners at Sésame and Pacini Italian restaurants. The very first day we walked to Mega Parc shopping mall. However, this location has no gym, pool and only 1 elevator can be long wait. Walking around the mall to exercise early in morning. Get room on the third floor so there’s nobody overhead. In words, we all love here and will come back next time in town.

  Major Disappointment

  I have never written a negative review, but this time some things need to be said. We had a three night stay and not once did our room receive even the barest of service. I certainly don't expect the sheets to be changed every day, but for $170 per night I do expect the bed to be made, the trash emptied and dry towels. This is a hotel room, not a housekeeping cottage. When I inquired about the lack of service, I was told it was company policy. Really? When I asked at the front desk where the nearest bus stop was, or how to buy tickets- the response was I don't know. Great. I will never stay here again or recommend. One of the small pleasures of vacation is to change up your routine. This did not happen. I can do housework at home, the only difference is I don't get paid for it.

  Just OK, not great

  I'm not sure what it is with Quality Inn and Suites, but almost all of them seem to have exactly the same odor, that of an attempt to cover up smoking in the rooms, even though it's a non-smoking hotel. That odor permeated through this facility. I picked the hotel because they had a unique room type that had both a king and queen bed in the suite. It appears they replace the sofa with the queen bed in a typical king bed suite for this room type, meaning other than the kitchen table with four chairs there's no comfortable seating in the room, I think the room would have been much nicer had they added a small sofa or arm chair. The room itself and beds were ok, but the ceilings were water damaged in the closet area, and looked like they were about to fall down. The floor in the room itself wasn't level, and cheap vinyl planks that had large gaps between the planks, as they weren't installed very well. Location was convenient, next to a large mall, and not too far to drive into Quebec City. Tip, you can drive to Place D'Youville station and park your car there for the day and take the hop-on hop-off bus from there if you want to see Quebec City without having to drive yourself all over the city.

  Great place for a two night stop with my son n his girlfriend. We got a suite which provided us with our own sleeping area which was great! Great price, clean , friendly staff n the breakfast had plenty of options with great service! Keep in mind it’s a Continental breakfast.

  Cleanest: it looked clean.BEDS : sofa bed was broken at different places when you opened it up. DO NOT EXPECT comfort from the Sofabed. Kids slept poorly on it + Very noisy. Other beds were fine. ODORS : there is quite a draft when you open you room door. DO NOT START THE FAN it will make it worst. We tried 2 rooms .. same odor. We tried switching hotel because of the smell. Couldn't find a room for our family of 6. It took a while but we kinda got used to it. 1 bed had a freakin whole bigger then a man's hand in the center of the sheet. SERVICE : Staff polite. You definitely need some patience at the front desk. For anything. BREAKFAST : STAFF sooo kind. It's the best thing août this hotel. You will eat because you need to. Not because it's good. But it's not that bad that you will pay extra for Tim Hortons. I recommend this ace ONLY if you don't want to pay 600$ to sleep with a 6 ppl family for a pitstop or something. Other wise I suggest you take the time to find a deal else where. Personnaly I would have to have no other choice to go back. If I go at least I know what to expect ..Hope it helps.
