  AVOID THAT PLACE. NEGLIGENCE and disrespect from the staff

  I have been a customer at this establishment for years and NEVER have I seen so much NEGLIGENCE and disrespect towards me as here from the young housekeeper who frankly should not be in this position. No recognition from them of all the very significant income I have provided them following my numerous stays over the years. Blatant and chronic lack of respect and professionalism, stupid attitude towards me from the staff, UNACCEPTABLE. Constant filth in the showers, no soundproofing, lack of necessary renovations, outdated equipment. It is truly shameful, DISRESPECTFUL and extremely disappointing as an internal management mentality on their part. ADIOS ! Avoid that place.

  The room is so humid and hot even the window is wide open because there is no fan or air-conditioned or whatsoever. I suggest that this room shouldn't be offered to any travelers like us because it is not comfortable, and it will defeat the purpose of taking a good night rest.

  Terrible lack of respect and professionalism from many persons of the staff

  I have been a hyper respectful regular customer at this establishment for years but the management mentality by the authorities responsible for this establishment leaves something to be desired and sadly and unacceptably leaves a bitter taste for the customers who nevertheless pay to be RESPECTED. I complained that 3 times in a few weeks, people from the establishment's staff wanted to open my room door WITHOUT EVEN FIRST knocking to find out if anyone was in the room!! Terrible but true. And other customers have had and are still having the same horrible similar experience and management normalizes this as something to accept!!! Amazing ! As a response and apology following our complaints, the management of this establishment invites us to stay elsewhere!! Incredibly astounding and DISSOLVING as a CUSTOMER SERVICE management mentality !

  No-frills accommodation in Sainte Foy

  I stayed for 3 nights in June 2023 in the single room with private bathroom at this dorm residence. Overall, it was a no-frills, unproblematic stay. The room was small but functional and surprisingly quiet for a place with student residents. The sheets could a bit cleaner though—there were strands of hair that I noticed when I arrived. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was good. The staff were also helpful and spoke adequate English.I arrived here at night and had no problems locating it using Google Maps. The surrounding area is peaceful but note that this is located in Sainte Foy which is a 25-minute drive to Old Quebec. You can catch a local bus to get to Old Quebec which would roughly take an hour. As luck would have it, the buses were on strike in the three nights that I stayed there so I had to rely on expensive Uber rides to get to downtown Quebec.Cons: There are no food establishments close to the area so I mostly used Ubereats for food deliveries. If you only have a few nights in Quebec, I would recommend that you shell out a few extra bucks and get an accommodation in the heart of the city.

  My purest experience.An enjoyable place to be with family and kids.The ambiance, the atmosphere is overwhelming.There aren't many places like that one for being peacefully linked to the mother nature.
