    Service was Good but Cleanliness an Issue

    The price for the room was very good and Chanelle was very professional, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there were a few issues. The hotel hosted two very loud Christmas parties and several members of our sports club were given rooms in the first floor but were not informed there would be this level of noise. I understand that it is the season for Christmas parties but it would have been very courteous to be given a choice of a room on a higher level away from the noise as we had athletes competing early in the morning. I also want to comment on the cleanliness of the bed sheets, covers and towels There were crumbs and hair stuck to these which makes me question if the duvet covers, in particular, had been cleaned.     Freeway noise near the room

    No free continental breakfast and you have to pay for dining. Food is ok. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room we were offered was next to freeway and noisy when the aircon is not running. The room was warm during daytime. The hotel controls the temperature even when I set it up to 65 degrees.     Broken AC in room and was given fan. Room was 76 degrees. Shower head was broken and had to Macgyver it to get a decent shower.     I have stayed at various Travelodge hotels but this was by far the best. We genuinely had to ask that we were in the right place. It’s very modern-looking and there appeared to be some ongoing works but it was very clean. The staff were all good.
