    Empty lobby, overpriced rooms!

    rating01 Dec 2025

We arrived late after midnight, and after checking few hotels that didn't live up to our expectations, we chose to stay here. The night clerk was polite, though he offered only a small discount despite our checking in so late. Our room overlooked a messy construction site, and the bathroom layout was poorly designed, with the toilet awkwardly squeezed between a wall and a wooden stand. The lobby was totally empty when we arrived and when we left, making the high prices seem even more unreasonable.Overall, the hotel was overpriced, run-down, and simply not worth what they’re charging. Management needs to reconsider their rates to ensure the hotel remains competitive. Lurelly Patricio, General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Regina, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear that our night clerk welcomed you politely after your long day of travel, though we’re sorry that the discount offered didn’t meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the aspects of your stay that fell short particularly the room view, bathroom layout, and the overall impression of the lobby during your visit. Your comments are important, and we’ve shared them with our management team as we continue to make improvements to both our facilities and our guest experience. We understand your concerns regarding value, and we truly appreciate your perspective. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable, well-maintained environment at a fair rate, and feedback like yours helps guide our efforts.Thank you again for staying with us. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future so we can deliver the experience you were expecting.

Late Arrival, High Expectations, and Mixed Experiences

    rating25 Jul 2025

I arrived at the hotel at 3:00 AM after a very long journey from the UAE to Toronto, then on to Regina. The night receptionist, Gab, was polite but not particularly helpful when it came to offering any flexibility on the room rate. Considering I checked in so late, with only a few hours remaining before the next day’s check-in, I was hoping for a discounted rate or an early check-in fee—something that is quite common in the Middle East under similar circumstances.Unfortunately, that was not the case here. In addition, basic services such as luggage assistance were not available; there was no bellman to help with bags upon arrival. On a positive note, the hotel itself is nice and the rooms are well-kept. My room had a city view, but ongoing road construction outside the hotel hindered any enjoyment of it. Overall, while the hotel is comfortable and in a good location, it feels overpriced for what is essentially a regular room without included services.

    Accessibility warning, otherwise good

    rating17 May 2025

Wanted to put this comment up for people concerned about accessibility. They are renovating their first floor accessible rooms (May 17-19, 2025, was my visit) so the rooms with a roll-shower are not available. As with most hotels, their understanding of accessibility is lacking; they should hire an occupational therapy consultant . The accessible rooms on the third floor are far from the elevators. There is a bathtub (with a chair) but no walk-in/roll-in shower which made it tough to shower properly unless you have assistance. The bathroom floors are tile which gets slippery even with the smallest splash. The room would be very cumbersome with a wheelchair, narrow corridor from the door, hard to use doors, the fridge/microwave are in a cabinet with doors and would be impossible to access with a wheelchair. The furniture was poorly placed and spaced which made it hard to get into the bed. This is the reason for my low rating of the experience. Otherwise, having a good time here. The city is still fixing Dewdney Street so you have to access the hotel from the west side (Albert St) by the Regina Crossing Centre (not the hotel’s fault). The place is clean. The beds are decent. The thermostats work well. Haven’t eaten at the restaurant so can’t comment on that. The staff is wonderful. I’d stay here again once the rooms with roll-in showers are available.

Hotel undergoing carpet replacement and loud

    rating08 Feb 2025

We stayed at this hotel before and early flight out of Regina. Overall the hotel is undergoing carpet replacement at the time we stayed, with large rolls of carpet in the hallways, and our stay was quite noisy due to trains and other guests (no fault to the hotel).Checkin:Staff were friendly, accommodating and approachable. No complaints about the checkin. The room:The room was spacious (2 queens), clean and mostly up to date. The bathtub showed signs of its age but it was very clean. The one comment I would have about the rooms is that the walls/ceiling/roof seems paper thing and we were able to hear every guest open their door and walk around. The beds:Beds were fantastic with really good pillows 5/5 on this. The location:The hotel is located near a train track and we were awoken once by the sound of the train horn as it went by. Additionally there’s a notoriously famous bar called “Gabbos” across the street. Checkout:No issues here, everything was smooth.Other:There were a group of preteen girls running around on the floors, placing with the ice machines and knocking on people’s doors. 2 others guest and I had opened our doors to tell them to stop and the front desk was called. They assured us someone would come to walk the area (which was great). About 45 minutes later they had called our room (which wasn’t great as our daughter was sleeping) to ask us for an update. I know this is beyond the hotels control but the night was capped by having zero sleep.Overall: 3/5. Hotel is clean, tidy, and friendly. The lack of sound proofing really killed any chance at rest with an early morning flight, but the beds were amazing.
