    Marketing fee problem.

    rating24 Sept 2025

Further to my review down lower which it says I can't delete or edit. Why?Anyways the bill came and there was a $3.49 charge for a Marketing Fee.What is that? Why was I charged. If you don't want to pay that charge, don't stay there. Sorry Sleep Inn, you caused this. Will I stay there again? Probably yes but will ask about that fee. I want it removed or I go somewhere else. Lots of other places right next door. The rest of my other review still stands.JoeCYWG

Odd smell in room and mini-fridge, shower drain was plugged and hot was cold and cold was hot?

    rating25 Jul 2025

I stayed at the Sleep Inn Regina East for the night of July 4th, 2025. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very welcoming staff member who proceeded to check me in. Check-in went smoothly and I was able to get to my room very quickly. I booked a room with one king bed and I had asked to be on the top floor near the stairs. I ended up receiving a room on the top floor, but it was not near the stairs as requested. The large room had a king bed with five pillows, a mini refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee-maker, a medium-sized television with a remote, a comfy chair, a sofa, a coffee table, as well as a desk with an office chair. I found that the room had a funny smell, as well as the mini-fridge. At first, I thought it was just me after a long days drive, but it was the room and fridge. I also found the room was very dark, even with all of the lights on. However, the room was very clean and that was the main thing. The clean medium-sized bathroom had a sink and a shower, and came with two sets of towels and a bar of soap. The sink had a bottle of lotion attached to the wall and the shower had bottles of shampoo and conditioner attached to the wall. I had some problems when taking a shower. I found that the hot and cold water were reversed, so when I turned it to hot, it was freezing cold, but when I turned it to cold, I burned my hand in the scalding water. I have never had that happen before. When I finally got the temperature correct and started with my shower, I found that the drain was plugged and that the tub was filling up with water. Plus there was no handle to hold on to, so it made for a very dangerous situation.I had some breakfast in the morning. It is pretty basic, with juice, coffee, cold cereal, toast, muffins, back (Canadian) bacon, make your own pancakes, yogurt and scrambled eggs. The area was very clean and I enjoyed what I had selected.Overall, I was a little bit disappointed with my stay at the Sleep Inn Regina East. While the room was clean, the odd smell that emanated from the room and the mini-fridge, as well as the reversed water in the shower and clogged drain, put a damper to the start of my vacation. I left a note about the water in the room, and told the staff member at check-out in hopes that no one else would get a cold shower in that room. I have a reservation for the same hotel on my way back, so I hope I get a different room.

    Nice property

    rating23 Jun 2025

Nice property, well maintained and clean. The beds and room was comfortable and quiet the breakfast was typical with a wide assortment of hot and cold foods. There were some evacuees from the wildfires, and Red Cross donations were in the lobby- it would have been nice fur those to have been moved to a meeting room.

    Great place to stay!!

    rating18 Oct 2024

The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating to all our queries and needs. The room was comfortable and quiet - the bed had a firm mattress and different sizes of pillows to suit varied likes. The included hot breakfast was delicious (and the cook very friendly) Coffee was available at all times. It was reasonably priced and parking was included. I enjoyed the pool too, and it was nice that the water slide had a separate pool to splashdown into - unfortunately the hot pool was unavailable. We would recommend the Sleep Inn to all

    Very comfortable and accommodating hotel.

    rating19 Aug 2024

Very comfortable hotel with large rooms, comfortable bed and a separate seating area. They also had a large, clean pool and hot tub. The staff was extremely helpful...they offered to help us get tickets to the Roughriders game that night and get an Uber to get to town. It's on the very east end of Regina, so you need a car to get around. The only issue is the lack of restaurants around there. We made the mistake of eating at the Boston Pizza across the parking lot. It was awful!
