  I am a return customer because the Stoke is a comfortable good deal with friendly staff (Atef and Pauline), complementary 'real' breakfast and no hassles.   Revelestoke...the great stampede

  AVOID at all costs.We stayed at this hotel more like a 1970's motel for one night. The hotel checkin was easy with no fuss .The room was dated ,clean and functional. The major downside of this establishment is the noise from the cargo railway line that toots and rumbles during the day and night. Coupled with the noise from the roads . There is no sound proofing in the hotel. The noise from our guests overhead can only be likened to a herd of wilderbeast running to water from 8pm to 2am .Resuming at 6am .The hotel provides earplugs which did little to drown the noise from our neighbours, the railway line and the road . So unless you have a hearing impediment this will not be the establishment for you. Breakfast was basic and not very appetising. That said, we are sorry this may not have been clearly visible.   A Dump, despite the Best Western brand name

  As a long time Best Western loyalty member, I’ve noticed the new creation of SureStay sub-brand. I can tell it’s a down market one as it’s often cheaper than those bearing “Best Western” label nearby. In fact at Revelstoke, there’s a Best Western Prime which cost 30% more. Still, I didn’t expect the kind of dump Best Western decide to include under its banner. The Stoke Hotel was an old, tired building. The moment I pulled up to it, I knew I was in for a big disappointment, just not how big that disappointment turns out to be. So, where do I start?Cracks in the porcelain sink. Rust on the heater. The window blind wouldn’t stay up. Oh, never mind that, the window is tiny! So the room was dark even if the blinds worked, had to keep the light on during a bright day. Outside, the stair was dirty and the wood was splintering. Dirts from however long ago was under the roof. The hot tub had dirts so thick you could walk on it without touching the pool bottom! It’s also the worst looking hotel in the entire village of Revelstoke. Why Best Western chose to include it in their brand is totally beyond me. But for me, I’m not going to touch their SureStay line with a 9 foot pole.   Awesome beds, Best complementary breakfast by far

  Awesome stay. The rooms are small but very clean, with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. The bed was very comfy with big pillows! We stayed in a pet friendly room with our dog. They have a big grassy area by the parking lot where we took her.The complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning was the best I have ever seen. I'm going to list all the things, it's extensive!Make your own waffles, boiled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, ham and cheese omlettes, assortment of breads, loafs and bagels. All the condiments for them including Nutella and cream cheese. Fresh fruit: grapefruit, oranges, apples, bananas. I had Nutella and banana on my waffle, so delish! They also had pkgs of cookies: oreos, oatmeal raisin, SF chocolate chip, crackers. Juice, coffee, & a variety of cereal. There is something for everyone. The staff were very busy, cooking, cleaning tables, restocking food where needed. And the set up is nice with booths in quite a large area like a real restaurant. The breakfast is free but the staff work hard, please leave them a tip. I would say this breakfast could easily cost $30/person if you were paying. I didn't take my phone in or I would have taken pics.There is an outside hot tub but we didn't use so can't comment.The price was very reasonable too.
