    WOW! The view from our room was spectacular, didn’t expect the location to be so far out from anywhere but it was fine. Rooms were lovely clean and tidy. The complex was truly amazing. Didn’t have dinner so can’t comment

    Amazing but needs renovations

    The hotel is amazing, we always stay here. This hotel has so much potential but none of it is being used, there is a restaurant that has been closed for years and a very nice lounge boarded off. If these were opened to the public and fully operational the resort would be that much better. The hotel is in need of renovations and upgrades to wifi, guest rooms (AC), restaurants, and the pool/ common areas.

    Beautiful area. Unfortunately right beside a busy and loud highway. The room was very dark, even with all the lights on. Fortunately they had a fan in the room especially if you are a light sleeper. When booking a room ask to be facing north away from highway.

    Go visit the ghost town and musea

    Did not stay here but wanted to give a recommendation for the beautifull ghost town and train musuem available on the grounds. Really worth the stop.

    I have wanted to stay at this chateau ever since my parents first took us to see 3 Valley Gap about 60 years ago. I have visited 3 Valley Gap a few times since then on the way to visit family in Victoria. I never thought I could afford it. We needed a place to stay on the way home this time and my daughter suggested we check it out. Being the low season, it was within our budget so we booked it for the night. Unfortunately we didn't get there as early as we had hoped we would but we did find time to see most of 3 Valley Gap, which has grown alot since the last time we were there. I loved the room we were in, the staff were great, the food in the dining room (we barely made it in time to get a late supper) was good and the gift shop had very reasonable prices. Just disappointed that we didn't have time to use the pool and hot tub or walk down to the edge of the lake. Loved the view from our room.
