    How does Gino the General Manager still have his job???

    I recently stayed at the Quality Inn Suites in Quispamsis and had a disappointing experience.I accidentally booked my room for Thursday, Sept 25th instead of the 26th. When I arrived on the 26th, I was told I had been charged for the missed night. I completely understood that this was my mistake, and I politely asked if a refund could be considered. The front desk clerk was very professional and explained that refunds are possible if the hotel had lots of availability the previous day, but not if they were sold out. He reassured me that there were indeed plenty of rooms available, so I should expect a refund once the manager was in.I left feeling confident, as the clerk was kind, helpful, and seemed to want to make things right. Unfortunately, that’s where things changed.Despite multiple reassurances, no one from management ever followed up. I called repeatedly, was promised return calls that never came, and finally spoke with the manager’s superior who's name was Gino the General Manager... At that point, I was told a completely different story... that the hotel had been full and I would not be refunded. It felt dishonest and frustrating, especially after the front desk staff had gone out of their way to reassure me otherwise. When I asked for owner contact information, I was refused.I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the front desk clerk, who handled the situation with patience and empathy. Sadly, the lack of accountability and transparency from management has left me feeling misled and unwelcome. Mistakes happen, on both sides, but honesty and follow-through go a long way.I hope this feedback helps improve communication and consistency, because with better management, this property could really shine. And it appears many of the dissatisfied customers and reviews are due to the lack of communication and contact from this General Manager....

    Lovely big room with lots of bonus features

    We loved our room. It was so spacious with the living room area, kitchenette and jacuzzi tub along with a tub/shower in the bathroom. We were disappointed that the jets on the jacuzzi didn’t work and hotel staff response was oh I’ll let them know. The breakfast was excellent with lots of hot options including eggs, bacon and sausage. Along with the other regular items such as cereals, breads etc. The tv was nice and big which was excellent since the bed was quite a distance away. The bed was comfortable.     This is my second stay at this hotel, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed! Interestingly, I flew in from the Netherlands, where I currently live, and found myself at Amsterdam Inn & Suites—a touch of Dutch charm right here. The hotel exudes cleanliness and attention to detail: the bathroom has gleaming white tiles without a single stain or speck of mold, and the toilet was spotless. The room itself is spacious, tidy, and has a fresh, clean scent. I have a very sensitive nose when it comes to dust, but I didn’t detect any—just pure cleanliness.The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The facilities are well-maintained and immaculate, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful—exactly the kind of service guests appreciate. The breakfast is varied, offering plenty of delicious options, and the hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas and restaurants.I highly recommend this hotel, as evidenced by my return last month, in September 2024.     Problem in Room

    Didn’t end up staying even though I pre-booked. The poor registrar was overwhelmed at the desk because they were fully booked and the wifi was down. He checked me in, I went up to the room, checked the bed and found evidence of bed bugs. When I asked to change rooms, he apologized and said they were sold out and had nowhere to put my dad and I. He didn’t charge us and we left. Thankfully I was able to find another place to stay about 30 minutes away.     Great stay!!!

    We used some of our Choice points for our 2-night stay. We stayed in a king suite and must say enjoyed the extra room it provided. The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The only downside was that there are no eateries within walking distance but as we had a car that was not a problem.
