The holiday village has a lift and features 39 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services include a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The complex offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (no extra charge).     We have stayed at this location a number of times as we travel from Calgary to Vancouver quite often. It is no longer cost effective. Our check is was short and condescending. Our room 123 was dirty. The bed clothes were stained. The toilet roll holder was broken. The sink faucet no longer worked properly, The shower bottom was showing cracks and the towels felt like you were wiping your skin with gravel they were so hard. No kleenex supplied and there was a terrible food smell in the hallway. This was a low cost place to stay half way between our destinations but now they charge $149.50 per night and an extra $25.00 for the dog! Their free breakfast now is just a small assortment of cold cereal and some small muffins and toast (no butter) and just margarine. Never again.

    I reserved at party of 40 teachers/students in April 2025, 3 months prior to the stay; (on a long weekend) we were about to go to a rugby high school tournament coming from the Cariboo (3-4 hours away). I called to confirm our stay and they said they cancelled it 1 day prior to our arrival; The gentleman (not so gentle, quite rude) said there was no deposit, I had it reserved on credit card, often good enough, not in this situation; we continued to chat and he hung up on me, the customer, I do not get furious often, but this was a trip for our kids/students.I had one day to try an find another hotel to stay at, good luck prior to a long weekend. I had to look in Sicamous, B.C., needed 12 rooms and there was just 12 left, this gentleman was so accommodating for our party of 40! The Monashee Hotel, great service, great space outside and views, comfy beds, thank you Monashee Hotel!I had to rank a 1 star for the Super 8 hotel in Salmon Arm, B.C. as that was the lowest option, I would like to give them a ZERO if I could.Thank you for reading my review.

    Super 8 Salmon Arm, BC is DishonestI'm very disappointed with my recent experience at the Salmon Arm Super 8. We booked 4 nights, and left after the 2nd night. I'm a 71 yo retired businessman. I know good business, fair business, bad business, and dishonest business. This hotel practices dishonest business. The hotel management lied to me about the refund in person, and on the phone !They denied that they owed me a refund to Expedia ( who I booked Thru ) based on their cancelation policy. Another lie ! I contacted Wyndham Hotels ( the franchisee ) finding out that their cancelation policy is one day. Only then did the hotel agree in writing that they owed me a one day refund. I emailed the Super 8 asking for this refund, and left a phone message requesting a call back. But this owner / management team has chosen to ignore me. I asked Wyndham Hotels to get involved and they said I need to contact the hotel. Already did that with no satisfaction. So Wyndham and Super 8 have lost a good customer.     Do NOT stay here! So gross. Made the mistake of not checking GOOGLE reviews before booking through Expedia…. Which was a LIE and SCAM it says 5.2 stars LIES DO NOT TRUST. Hopefully you didn’t make that mistake either. Checked in and got my room, I walk in and get slapped in the face with a sour musty old smell and the room NOT CLEANED there was crap everywhere. I get a new room and same weird smell and just gross looking box springs that had no covers and weird red stains on them like liquid had been dripping. After being given the dirty room the first time I just couldn’t get past it and didn’t trust that the new room was truly cleaned or just “tidied up”.Don’t recommend using especially with pets as there was gross red stains on the carpets on the hallway with what looked almost like food mushed in and basically just forgotten about and this was on the MAIN FLOOR! Nope
