    Our overnight stay at Saskatoon Inn & Conference Centre on 17th May was a mixed experience that revealed both the property’s potential and its shortcomings. We occupied two rooms, both of which were commendably clean, comfortable, and adequately prepared for our arrival. The reception process was equally impressive, as the front desk staff handled our check-in with remarkable efficiency and professionalism.That said, the overall maintenance standards left much to be desired. The corridors appeared untidy and poorly managed, with extra beds occupying hallway spaces, creating an unkempt and rather chaotic impression. In addition, the elevators were excessively noisy, which further detracted from the sense of comfort one expects from a property of this scale.Our booking included breakfast, and while the quality and portion sizes of the food were genuinely satisfying, the service experience was unfortunately disappointing. A tall, middle-aged hostess overseeing the breakfast area displayed an attitude that felt distinctly unwelcoming. Her hurried demeanor and lack of warmth conveyed a notable absence of professionalism, particularly disappointing within the hospitality industry where guest interaction is paramount.Consequently, I am deducting two stars from what could otherwise have been a far more favorable review — one star for the discourteous service during breakfast, and another for the evident maintenance concerns throughout the property.The hotel undeniably possesses immense potential given its expansive premises and facilities. With improved upkeep and more attentive guest service, it could very well elevate the overall guest experience to a considerably higher standard.
