A Great Off Season Stay in Sooke

    rating27 Jan 2026

We had an awesome three night stay at the Prestige in Sooke. Some of the things that impressed us most:A beautiful spacious, dog friendly ocean front room with balcony. Of course, we paid extra for the ocean view but it was completely worth it. With an off season promotion, we got three nights for the price of two, and with mild sunny January weather, we were able to take advantage of the balcony all three days we were there. I’m not one to typically buy an upgraded room, but in this case I’m very glad we did.We drive an EV and we appreciated the complementary charger in the underground parking. The “kitchen” facilities in the room were an unexpected bonus. In addition to the standard bar sized fridge was a kettle, toaster, microwave and a supply of plates and cutlery. Since the unit wasn’t advertised as a kitchen unit, these amenities came as a pleasant surprise.Pleasant, accommodating staff; half an hour after check in we got a call from the front desk asking if our room was satisfactory, a little touch you seldom see these days. One item of note is that their TV’s aren’t currently “smart” TV’s that allow streaming from your devices. They come with a large selection of cable channels, including the major Canadian sports channels, but if you want to stream, bring your laptop and an HDMI cord.

    A Truly Restorative Experience

    rating18 Jan 2026

I recently enjoyed a relaxation massage at Prestige Oveanfront Resort Spa in Sooke with Chrissy Bennett, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Chrissy has a calm, professional presence that immediately puts you at ease. Her touch is intuitive, unhurried, and deeply attentive, creating a sense of genuine relaxation rather than a routine treatment. The massage itself was perfectly balanced, soothing, grounding, and thoughtfully paced. Chrissy clearly understands how to work with the body to release tension while maintaining a deeply nurturing flow. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and noticeably lighter, both physically and mentally. If you are seeking a high-quality relaxation massage that feels personalized and restorative, I highly recommend booking with Chrissy Bennett at Prestige Resort Spa. This was a truly nourishing experience and one I would gladly repeat.

    Peaceful oceanfront getaway!

    rating05 Oct 2025

The ocean was calling to me, and the Prestige Oceanfront Resort in Sooke, BC, filled my soul with peace. The Prestige chain was founded by Josef and Anna Huber, who arrived in Canada in 1950 and started with a small motel in the Okanagan Valley. Built in 2010, this hotel has the feel of a 1920s seaside resort. My oceanfront room had high ceilings, crown moldings, and interesting architectural details. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ate at the West Coast Grill a few times, and the food was delicious, except for my first breakfast of oatmeal and berries. It wasn't nearly as good as the hot and creamy oatmeal sprinkled with garden-fresh berries that my dad made me every morning. (Good memories can be tricky.)

    Outstanding in Every Way

    rating16 Sept 2025

Our King bed room with huge balcony and water view was awesome. Quality is evident throughout this resort. Our room was sparkling clean. We enjoyed two dinners here and a wonderful breakfast. Really, you could spend all your time here and be thrilled.
