    Alt Hotel was a spectacular stay. Fast check-in, modern hotel, great communication, very clean, and excellent service. Reasonable underground parking at $13 per day, and it’s centrally located so you can easily walk to all the pubs and restaurants, although they also have a great coffee shop in the lobby.We upgraded to a waterfront view, which was nice for watching the ships come in and out. The layout of the harbor means the hotels are set back from the dock, so while it’s a harbor view and not right on the water, the views are still very good.Would definitely stay there again when in St. John’s.     You will not be disappointed. Good location downtown. Rooms are beautiful and I would suggest the harbour view rooms. Great price. Very clean, beds extremenly comfortable . During my stay, I did not hear anything. Felt very welcome by all the staff. ALT hotels belong to the Germain Group, a family owned company based in Quebec City and they have hotels throughout Canada, and I can assure you will get the same welcome throughout their other locations in Canada.     This is such a superb place to stay to experience St. John’s. The location is perfect, staff are friendly and unfailingly helpful, it has one of the best restaurants in the city, and the lobby cafe is the perfect breakfast spot. We spent four nights here in September and it was great. Rooms are on the small side, but you know that going in. Soundproofing was great. We heard a bit of street noise but no noise from the hallway or other rooms. Just a fantastic vibe overall.     My Alt Hotel stay was fabulous all around! The beds,pillows and showers are amazing.
