We stay here about 5 times a year. Today not once but twice… no knock on door or anything… someone entered our room while we were there. We shouted out excuse us and they left… assuming they were staff.Notified front desk and received a sorry :( Usully the hotel is great so thats why a 4 for the rating.

    Convenient base for exploring

    rating14 Aug 2026

Booked last minute at an unbeatable price, and it turned out to be a great choice for our Newfoundland road trip. The location worked really well, especially with the easy access to the highway. It was convenient for driving around the island, including the Irish Loop, Cape St. Mary’s and Bonavista. The room was clean and comfortable, and parking was never an issue. There is a shopping area and supermarkets nearby, which was also very convenient during a road trip.Breakfast was good for this type of hotel; pretty much what I would expect from a Hampton. One thing to be aware of is that if you want the bed linen changed more frequently, you need to request it at the front desk. The hotel is around 15 minutes from downtown by car. The airport location is convenient as well. Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel in a very practical location for a Newfoundland road trip.

    Great location and service

    rating02 Dec 2025

There should be a very good between good and excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a nice variety. Not too far from the airport but not at the airport and it is in an area that has shops close by .Photos are from the handicapped room that I got. Ask for a room on the opposite side of garbage pickup .
