  Good Stay In Drumheller

  Stayed with 2 seniors, 2 kids and 1 adult during our visit to Drumheller. We booked one Suite (with kitchen) and one regular room. The regular room was fine - as expected for a SureStay property. The suite had a good sized kitchen with full sized fridge, and stove/oven. There was a raised bar for sitting at to eat.The rooms were mostly clean, although the suite hadn't been fully cleaned when we checked in and there was no staff available to help. Eventually we got it sorted, but it was very hard to find a staff member as there were very few and the hotel was very busy. When we were able to track down staff they were helpful.The hotel was very busy with lots of families coming in/out but no problems with noise at night. Breakfast was great but crowded during our June stay. There was a conveyer belt machine that made pancakes that the kids enjoyed a lot and there were lots more options for food than I was expecting.The pool was packed every time we went there and the water was not clean. The pool was part of why we picked the hotel so it was a big disappointment that it was so dirty. Overall, I would say that it was a good place to stay in Drumheller, but next time I would pick a different hotel to see if any of the others in town have cleaner pools.   We stayed at the Best Western in Drumheller during our Alberta road trip and came away a bit disappointed. The hotel was clean, which we appreciated, but the property overall felt old, dark, and dated.Drumheller is an amazing destination, but hotel options are limited, and this one seems to lean heavily on location. For the price we paid, we expected more. While check-in was smooth and the basics were covered, the value just wasn’t there compared to other stops on our trip.Convenient location, yes — but it doesn’t quite justify the cost, and we’d look elsewhere next time.   We had a very good experience at this conveniently located and well managed hotel.

  We booked a room for two adults and two children a few months before our stay, via the hotels website.We checked-in early Monday afternoon and were assigned a room on the ground floor with two doors. One was for access to the hallway, and the other was for access to a sidewalk and parking lot outside. It was very convenient to park our vehicle right out the rooms exterior door and unload our luggage.In the mornings we enjoyed the continental breakfast provided by the hotel.The hotel is situated within easy walking distance to restaurants we like and a grocery store.Overall, our experience with this hotel was very good.
