    Alright Hotel, but Limited Service

    I recently stayed here and it was clean, but definitely an older hotel. My negative rating is because the smoke detector in my room was beeping. I told the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I said there was no way I could sleep in the room with that going all night, so I was moved next door where I could still hear it! I was again moved 3 doors down and I could still hear it, but it at least was fainter. I can’t believe no one had a ladder and batteries to fix it. How many other patrons were impacted by this annoying sound? I have to return to Georgetown 3 more times, but I think I’ll book further away than risk returning here again.

    Clean quiet room, outdoor entrance to room and you can park right by your room. Very handy for as we needed to return to our room late due to work committments. Desk staff was kind and helpful. We had a small snag with our reservation, but they invited us to have a coffee while they worked it out. Breakfast was great. No waffles, but lots of variety. Eating area is small, but certainly adequate for us.

    This Best Western has had a complete makeover and was clean and fresh. All staff were wanting to please. Bathroom was fully stocked with towels and toiletries. Breakfast included had plenty of variety and hot foods refilled with fresh as needed. Thankyou.

    Clean, great price and good location for tournament

    We were in the area for 4 days/3n to watch family in an Ultimate tournament and chose this motel because it was a close drive to the tournament grounds, had lots of options for restaurants nearby, free wifi, and included breakfast. We had no complaints at all: price was great, hotel room was clean and updated and service at front desk was good. Breakfast options included eggs of some kind (it changed each of the three mornings we were there), sausage, bagels and breads, some fruit (apples and oranges), yogurt, granola bars, muffins, cereal and juice and coffee. Our room number was 112, on the ground floor and was 28 steps from the room to breakfast, but the motel is not huge and it would be a short walk from any room. Our room had not yet been updated with a smart TV so we had no Netflix, but we didn’t miss it.If it’s important to you, check in advance about theTV.We read reviews before booking and there is no elevator to the second floor, so if that matters to you, book on the ground floor. Overall, great little stay and no complaints!
