  Had such an amazing time! We go here at least 2 to 3 times a year, little stay vacation for the kids! The staff is amazing here! Thank you to Mathu🙏 this hotel is blessed to have you as there staff!🙏

  More of a 3.5…..there are pros and cons

  We recently stayed for 6 nights while visiting family in North York. There are pros and cons to this facility…Pros* clean* good coffee in the lounge* almost all of the staff were friendly and accommodating (with the exception of the front desk clerk….when both my husband and I were sharing concerns with the other front desk clerk…for some odd reason he felt the need to jump in and talk over all of us. When we talked to him directly he seemed to feel it was good protocol to interrupt, be defensive and combative. Very odd, very unprofessional. Perhaps more training in customer relations would bring this clerk to industry standards.)Cons* no complimentary breakfast* housekeeping staff need to have a checklist before servicing rooms and pay attention to detail so they can ensure there is enough towels, Kleenex, washcloths etc. and guests don’t have to go and obtain for themselves * no in-room coffee machine (one staff…not the front clerk….kindly brought us one) * on site restaurant was only opened on sporadic hours and was almost always completely empty ……might be better use of resources to replace with a small complimentary breakfast room …which is in keeping with current industry standards* hotel is in the middle of nowhere* expensive!!!* hot tub didn’t always work (no one’s fault…but disappointing)We would not return. There is a Holiday Inn Express next door with more amenities, complimentary breakfast, closer to the subway and almost certainly better trained front desk clerk. We shouldn’t come to another province, spend good money to stay at a hotel and be treated as anything less than a valued customer and guest.

  The hotel is very clean, I use the handicap room with a king bed well equiped for my needs resturant is a nice quiet setting foor is delicious fries are some of the best ive ever had

  Bed bug infested!!!! Room 408I wish you could give less than 1. My family received bed bug bites during our stay. The hotel refused to acknowledge the problem and offered to change our room. No, I do not want to stay in this hotel any longer. No compensation attempt. Once we went back to the room and provided proof of the infestation, the front desk offered to refund our up coming 3rd night stay. What about the 2 nights we received the bites????Contacted the hotel and the Best Western chain and had to wait 2 weeks for a response and only after I initiated. The result....a complimentary night stay at the same hotel. Unbelievable. No offer to pay for cleaning my vehicle, no offer to pay for my laundry cleaning, nothing. Do not stay here, do not use Best Western- customer service is abysmal!!!!! We do not take complaints such as yours lightly although after further investigation there wasn't any report of bed bug findings in your room from our third party pest control.   Biggest rip off ever!!!!

  When we got off the elevator on the 6th floor, it was like walking into a place decorated for Halloween. All the lights were hanging from the wires having been removed for painting. Wallpaper was ripped and the hallway was dingy and creepy. The room itself was ok, clean and nice linens. Behind the bathroom door, the paint was peeling and the bottom of the door was warped and damaged. The bathroom had an odour. It was a little chilly in the room so we tried to turn up the heat. The unit only blew cold air and the thermostat could not be adjusted over 67 degrees. We called the desk and they sent someone up. He fixed the thermostat and left. The heater still only blew cold air although the thermostat was set to 80 degrees. As it was getting late, we just decided to go to bed and stay warm there. In the morning when we checked out, they offered us a discount. When we got home, the credit card account was checked and there was a charge on it $150 more than we were billed. When we complained, they said it was a security deposit and wasn't charged to our card.....BUT IT WAS!!! And after that, an additional charge was put on, bringing total charges for a freezing, creepy room to almost $600. Absolutely stay away from this place. Go next door to the Holiday Inn Express. We certainly will.
