Location

This hotel is located right across from Toronto Pearson Airport, just 5 km from all major highways and 20 km from downtown Toronto, with easy access to public transportation and highways. Guests will find restaurants, bars and nightspots in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and there are shopping facilities on offer just a 15-minute drive away at the Square One shopping centre.

Facility

The hotel has 100 single rooms and 20 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     My usual airport hotel was booked up for my dates, so I took a chance on this one. It was great. Shuttle arrived quickly after summoning it, and the front desk staff was friendly and charming--super easy checkin. My room was right beside the elevator, but I didn't hear anything from it. I did notice some airplane noise early in the morning, and no wonder. When I opened my curtains, I was treated to the underside of a landing plane! So cool. The bed was comfy, as were the pillow options. The toiletries smelled really nice. I was able to keep my room until noon, as my shuttle home wasn't arriving until 1:30. I went for a swim in the basement pool while I was waiting. Water was a nice temperature, and the pool is surprisingly big. Very nice hot tub, as well as a wet and a dry sauna.Breakfast wasn't included in my stay, but I did have it at the on-site restaurant. It was pretty good (poached eggs on my eggs Benedict were overcooked) and not too stupidly expensive. Friendly service. All in all, a very pleasant stay and conveniently close to the airport.

    Parking not secure. Staff do not care. I normally don't write reviews or complain much, but I felt I must this time. My wife and I parked our car there, in the secure garage, or so we thought. We parked for a week while we were away in Mexico. Upon return, the sunroof of our car was broken and it was apparent that someone had been through the compartments in the car. We went to the front desk to report it and the staff not only didn't care but they were rude to us. All they could even manage to say to my wife was "call the police". They would much rather have pretended we weren't there. They did not call security, they did not offer any help or even the slightest bit of concern. It is never a pleasant experience to come home after a long flight and find something like this but they made it much worse. We realize these things happen, but the fact that the car was not safe in their facility and it wasn't even noticed that this happened to our car so it gives the idea that nobody is even watching, made us feel that we did not get what we paid for. We found out through the police later that some areas of the garage aren't even in view of cameras. My advice is save your money and park in a field somewhere to get the same level of safety or go somewhere else.
